Solution looking for a problem. Had a friend who like to buy every AR gizmo he could find on the net. one piece rings...enhanced bolts...coated sptings...Just to annoy him I would line up the gaps in my standard rings and shoot all day with no issue.
I went to put my #41 on and the gas tube roll pin on the old GGG gas block that was on there is retardedly stuck. I broke my punch and it barely budged. Said screw that and ordered a new gas tube lol. guess that gas block gets to keep that tube.
Honestly been wanting this FSGB since I built this rifle. I like the GGG but this one just feels like its meant to be on there. Thanks for the enablement lol.
Had 3x 60hr weeks in a row. Checks are good but damn man, im getting too old for this ish. Did the Easter stuff and egg hunts at the church yesterday so today the fam went to go swim at nanas house and I skipped out for some Zen. Did a little shooting but mostly just drove around by myself enjoying the day. Finally played with the crawl control and E-locker on some steep rocky stuff. Cant wait to get some beefier tires.
We have a small area where the somalis seem to have dug in. We also call it little Mogadishu. ....but not because "its array of Somali-centered organizations, businesses, and mosques"
We call it that because you roll the windows up and lock the doors when you drive through.
I just took it down and actually got it all back in the bag!
Id be cool with hammock camping but its going to take some work to get the fam out. I figure the mansion tent will help.
@edgecrusher
Slim picking. Limited stock means they probably just have one on the shelf or a display model. I haven't had good luck scoring limited stock deals. These things are heavy though. Shipping might suck pretty bad.
You might have to ask. They are usually in the back. There was actually only one on the shelf in sholow and the other was in the back but the employee was totally cool and went and grabbed it for me
If you surf around on brickseek.com you can search out in-store clearance deals for your area. Down side is it may show inventory but when you drive over there you cant find it. Its a real pain in the ass sometimes. This is how I scored my $40 leupold and nikon binos.
I had heard they were on clearance but they were out of stock all over tucson. I was in showlow last weekend and we were at the wally so I decided to look and they had 2 on the shelf listed at $120. I asked the guy to scan them and they came back at $49 so I grabbed one for me and one for my inlaws.
Wallyworld is blowing out lots of camping gear. I know ozark trail isnt the best brand in the game...but I just scored this ginormous 12 person tent for $49. Did a "soft" setup and its huge but pretty easy to get it together. Pretty thin but good for fair weather camping with the fam. Has a built in LED light kit that runs on D batteries. I wouldnt have bought it for the original price, or even the sale price but for $50 clearance I couldnt say no.

There are some very trustworthy folks on this forum bro. Id be disassembling some of the sticks and mailing out boxes for temporary storage if I were you.
We could pitch in to put an "international" safe in Toms armory.
