  1. Lol my bad! I saw OPs recent post and clicked on the user profile and saw this one. Assumed they went up together. Ill call for an exorcism from father Rob
  2. Without going into extreme detail...... I'm a hundred percent sure there's an easier fix to your lock back problem.
  3. Would not recommend dremmeling anything to a guy on his first AR build lol.
  4. Continued development Finally bought the Walther specific optic plate from Shield. Very well machined and comes with new hardware. Significantly thinner and lighter than the factory supplied DELTAPOINT plate I was using. fits better as well. The factory plates cover the open striker channel of the gun which is why they are thick. The shield plate leaves it open and uses the bottom of the optic to cover the channel. Id guess it tucks the optic about 1/16" lower into the slide than the factory plates did. Since the optic acts as the rear sight...this should make a significant difference in the cowitness with the short sight radius. Very happy with the appearance. Hope to hit the range this afternoon and will update.
  5. Brownies had that howa 1500 20" action on sale for $200, and a good $ range of stocks and chassis systems in stock. I spent a while looking at combos and reviews today.
  6. I few out of Sacramento at about 6 am sunday morning. I had nothing with me...wearing some dressy khakis with hardly any metal. No extra pockets. even took my belt off at the checkpoint. Got yanked right out of line for the full patdown violation routine. Sitting on the plane I realized I was wearing my criterion tactical shirt with a big AR15 across the back lol.
  7. Nice mod! I havnt seen much feedback on the DEZ fsb but it might be an option if you want a bayo lug https://shop.deztacticalarms.com/A2-Fixed-Front-Sight-Clamp-on-750-w-Bayonet-Lug-DEZ-1035-GB.htm On the other hand, a bayonet is a bad idea if the fsb isnt pinned. I really want one of those ARMS sights for my 14.5 with the CASV
  8. Have you been living under a rock? Everyone knows that magazines that hold more than 10rds are the leading cause of mass shootings.
  9. I dont know about all you heffers....but im a sexy beast.
  10. Wtf lol. Death by crap magazine isnt how I want to go. Ill stick to Magpul.
  11. Dont know if id take it that far...but really good movie. Much better than I expected. maybe a notch below heat/sicario. The heist was a little bit hollywood outrageous. Id think the SAW would have been a little more effective in the shootout scene, but ive always had a soft spot for that beautiful beast.
  12. Thats awesome...

    Sicario 2

Sicario is in my rotating insomnia playlist. I probably watch it twice a month. Such a good movie. I was surprised by Den of Thieves as well. Much better than I expected.
  14. I love the classic.....but those 16s with the fancy folding chassis look so badass.
  15. Pm sent
  16. Only thing I really do on youtube is music. anyone have a good music download site?
  17. @mrraley I do. I kinda forgot I had it listed to be honest lol.

  19. Im in vegas for work for the next week and a half.
  20. Check out my "blue builds a dissy" thread. Numbers are all in there. Im a little sauced right now or id dig it out for you lol.
  21. I am also currently in the NV desert if you need any help burning ammo. ?
  22. Mine only ran good brass ammo until I opened up the port...and would still fail to lock on an empty mag on occasion. Wouldnt cycle steel cased ammo at all. Runs perfect with the bigger port. Didnt lose any smoothness.
  23. Hollywood quiet. Best toys ever.
