You mean the stock will collapse when you shoot it from the rest? Are you sure you have it locked into the notch? Can you force it to collapse with it locked in place by banging or pushing on the stock? Ive never seen that stock before so I cant speak on its quality.

Really what it comes down to. Watching that video i cant help to feel he was angry rather than scared...but nobody can know that but the shooter, so this will be a clash of lawyers. Court of public opinion looks to be pretty strongly against the shooter from everything im seeing so a jury trial might be a problem.

Killed another zipper in a "normal" backpack at the range yesterday. Think its about time to invest in something solid. Anybody tried anything new I should look at? Non-tacticool color...prefer black. Straps preferred but sling ok. As large as I can get away with while still being airplane carry-on safe.

Overshot the mark a little. The new plate moved the rear sight down a little too much and its grouping low now. Its still usable at defensive distances with a little holdover. I was "dotting the i" for this session and it was a little closer if covered the target area with the front blade, but im not use to shooting that way and groups suffer. I only had a few hundred rds with me so I want to get back out before I make any changes but a lower front sight is pretty cheap. I can also just leave it as is since the dot is dead on and the fixed sights are just a backup in the event of electronic failure.

Assuming the PA10 upper is "DPMS HIGH" equivalent? Bushmaster and YHM use to make some special front sights and railed GBs for them but they are out of production as far as I know. Sometimes you can find them on ebay or surplus sites like JSEsurplus.com.

Home build? Factory gun? Did it stop working recently or has it ever locked back? What is leading you to believe the buffer is the problem?
