Progress and setbacks. The pinned FSB was a hair off on the 14.5 barrel so im sending it back for a replacement. scored a good deal on lowers. Was planning on grabbing whatever was cheap and in stock...and they had LMT on sale for $99 ea. Pretty stoked. I have triggers and grips so I ordered some minimalist LPKs and saved some cash. A2 stock and parts in route from my favorite forum enabler for the A2 build. Gettin there.

Yup. Buddy just brought me a gun to troubleshoot (only time anybody calls me anymore lol). Buffer bump stop was chewed up and pieces of rubber were in the FCG. the pin holding the bumper was bent and it enlarged the hole in the buffer body. Internal depth was about 1/4" short.

Its pretty old and brittle. Im not confident that drilling it wont just cause it to get worse. The crack is almost right on the 90` edge. I think ill try the cloth and make the patch larger/thicker. It lifted the patch a little so its not sticking to the housing very well, but it also ripped through the epoxy right at the crack location. ill try and fill the under side really heavy this time and if that doesnt stop it I guess ill start shopping. Nobody in this house even goes in the stupid pool. Every year I threaten to turn it into a fish pond.

The "dome" for my pool filter cracked. I tried a 2 part epoxy and it didnt hold. I bought a marine epoxy for boats. Said it holds 30k psi. It held for a while but I think it flexed too much when I was removing the dome to clean the filter out (yes, its swim weather in AZ) I sanded and coated the inside and outside but the inside is tight and hard to prep. Any ideas on a better way to seal this up? Maybe a bigger/thicker patch?

Im sure they are lowlifes and i wont shed any tears over it....BP was a cesspool. Anybody remotely connected to trafficking or pedo stuff needs immediate guillotining. Im just suspicious of everything lately. Mccain and his wife were the driving force behind the BP seizure from what im reading and I trust that scumbag as far as I can throw his old ass. he probably tried to strongarm them for a cut of the operation and when it didnt happen they called in the feds.

Id be willing to bet it had as much to do with gun sales as it did with trafficking and prostitution. Craigslist had the same crap going on. They didnt even try to hide it. There was an "adult escort" sub-classified. The difference was craigslist was strict about gun sales. Clist removed all its personals stuff at the same time backpage did but nobody is kicking down their door. If im not mistaken, all this started because a law recently passed saying the site owners can be held responsible for people misusing their site for illegal purposes (prostitution/trafficking) all these sites closed their personals sections soon as it was passed. Im not understanding how the BP owners are being charged retroactively? Am I missing something?

Finally popped up on my download site. Entertaining. Cant touch 13hours or lone survivor though. Seemed a little hollywooded out with the scenes of a small group of horses charging past multiple vehicle mounted heavy machine guns. I imagine Last Samurai is a more likely outcome of that scenario. I didnt like Chris Hemsworth as the lead, but the rest of the cast was solid. They did have alot of sweet authentic combat vehicles. The real story is amazing. I think they could have done a little better on the movie. Was still pretty good.

Gonna be honest here. I cant be mad at any politicians who back a bumpstock ban when so many "pro gun" people back it. Even on this forum, which is unusually woke, there are people who have implied support for it. The collateral damage that comes along with any bumpstock ban, no matter how carefully worded, is unavoidable. Wish everyone would see that before they spout off online about "bumpstocks are stoopid hurdur"

For 8 years I said we were screwed as soon as a republican got the big chair. All politicians and elites want us disarmed. FACT. every single one. With a dem as president the Rs had to pretend to fight it to keep up appearance. Now its a full court press. Fat lady is singing. Why I wouldnt have voted for any of the other Rs on the ticket last year. Had a tiny bit of hope trump might resist the machine. Oh well.
