  1. No. They did a limited edition of every caliber they made, stainless steel 16" with gray laminated stocks and fiber optic sights. If you can find one in any caliber, they are fetching top dollar as they were limited editions from Marlin. Prior to the Remington/Freedom Group buy out. Like $2800 and climbing on the last one I found (which I think was .357 Magnum).
  2. Don't worry...R2 has your back. <lmao>
  3. Constipated...so I got off the pot. Going to be off the pot for awhile.
  4. Jtalien you need to take that wonderful wife of yours to dinner...her choice!
  5. Rifles. Who in the world would think someone was talking about passing down sloppy seconds through 3 generations, purchasing it from user #3, then going to town in there? Yeah yeah yeah...besides you. <laughs> We all still greatly appreciate the Nancy Pelosi offer, some of us hoping it never comes to that. Others hoping you'll transfer it to Hillary if need be.
  6. That double-dong is gonna leave a red mark! <lmao>
  7. I've gotten many a good deal on .22 rifles that were dirty filthy. What happened to it? "I don't know. It was my grandpa's, then my dad's, then mine. Must have run a million rounds through it. Yeah, I'll take $25." Go home and clean it. Bang bang bang.
  8. Good job! Sounds like 308AR.com needs to get into the live podcasting on youtube. Which one of the kids was running a router in the background? You seemed quite distracted for a minute there.
  9. Open the cylinder. On the inside of the frame that is covered by the yoke/crane (the hinged piece the cylinder is carried upon) and you will see the model number followed by a dash number. Example: 66-3 or 66-9
  10. /\/\/\/\ Truth. Moving a small machine once with 4 people almost resulted in it being dropped, moving it only 8ft. At a later date, me and one other dude moved it WAY easier with leverage and proper placement of carts and benches. A local gunsmith got his leg crushed several years back, when they were moving his Bridgeport and it fell over onto him. Cast iron ain't no joke.
  11. S&W 66, can't tell the "dash" number by the photo but it is what is now referred to by S&W collectors as "pre-lock". The "lock" is the unsightly action lock, located above the reshaped cylinder releases on S&Ws produced after their landmark cave-in to Clinton, agreeing to equip all new handguns with action locks. The lock is reputed to seize the action on the D/A revolvers all by itself. The first people reporting it were deemed too stupid to operate a revolver but more and more incident accounts rolled into gunsmiths, forums, and magazines. The difference in price between pre-lock and lock on the same model can be $300-$500 and more, depending on rarity of the model.
  12. Of course not. To mean that he would have said "Machinists are lacking."
  13. Oh now I suppose you're going to bring up the California land rush of the 1950s and 1960s. Or the great influx during the Great Depression. Next it will be the huge migration during the 1849 Sutter's Mill extravaganza. Hell...we didn't even give you the choice to be part of 'Merica after the Mexican-American War. You didn't cross the border, the border crossed you! Hhmmm. I see your point now. I vote that we acknowledge the position of the man from California and allow reparations to Californians! We will humbly allow all folks from California to return to California, and not bother them anymore. <laughs> <lmao>
  14. Yup. Moving back about an inch and a half it appears right in front of his cheek. It's acceptable because it's an original select-fire Armalite.
  15. I'd like to add... Now you folks from NY, Maryland, Cali, know how it feels to be overwhelmed by people from someplace else.
  16. Welcome from AZ! What part of AZ are you located? We're all over.
  17. You mean "Glock perfection" before they started correcting the perfects?
  18. My guess is it was the type with straps, the straps used as a handle with the dildo as a flail. True story: When in the Corrections Officers Training Acadamy, they loaded us all up and took us to SACRAC (women inmate's "rehabilitation" facility) to do cell/dorm searches. At the time DoC still allowed inmates to have food boxes and coolers, up to 50#s of food twice a year which they kept in styrofoam coolers and bought ice every other day to keep the food. One of the cadets found a package in a cooler, tightly wrapped up in paper towels. He unrolled it, letting it drop into his hand and staring at it a minute trying to figure out what it was. He literally turned green when he realized it was a pepperoni stick with lotion remnants and pubic hairs all over it. :puke: <laughs> <lmao>
  19. <lmao>
  20. From "The Smoking Gun" no less! <lmao>
  21. Whether you agree with open carry or not, why is What-A-Burger making this decision now? They have had locations in Arizona since I was a kid, well over 40 years now, and Arizona has always had open carry. Same with many states where they have had locations for decades. The answer is they are bowing to the PC kowtowing, perpetrated by NIMBY bullies, due to fear of losing a few customers who are scared of cars without airbags and 5-gallon buckets.
  22. /\/\/\/\ Post #308 for ChaseFan! Baboso-endorsed survival since 2015.
  23. Can't say for that. All the comp shooters I know switch their Glock recoil springs out after 1,500 rounds or so. Now...for my Springfield XD9, the dude I got it from freely admitted it was all original and he had no idea how many rounds were through it. Between myself and students there are probably another 25,000-30,000 through it (the most shot besides .22s). I've been thinking about overhauling it but only to give some TLC, not 'cause it needs it.
  24. You totally missed out. Should've gotten The Pig.
  25. What-A-Burger now bans open carry...because it passed in their home state of Texas. http://news.yahoo.com/whataburger-takes-stand-against-texas-open-carry-law-153658659.html Really hard to believe how NIMBY many Texas groups/cities have become.
