  1. Isn't that Spanish for "warm piss"?
  2. Welcome from Arizona!
  3. Don't worry Larry...even though they're giving you breweries from all over Arizona, someone else will chime in with more Tucson brew.
  4. The NASA colors hurt my eyes. Can we go back to the pseudo-military pattern?
  5. Canadair CL-215 water bomber. Badass bird right there!
  6. Expansion is real, about a foot on a 300' steam catapult or the same in my jeans in highschool health with the student teacher. You should get a one-piece base with integral rings, machined from a solid piece of titanium billet. It may be expensive but it will be worth it.
  7. Never heard of it in my isolated world. Favorite local is Nimbus, with their red ale (used to call it Rillito Red, forget what they changed it to).
  8. Welcome back! Love you too brother!
  9. Hemi!! Glad to see you bro!
  10. Sisco, Sisco, Sisco...we're on 308AR dot com. ALL we do is spend every last penny on toys! For the actual ground roll they were doing 500'-600', followed by a very steep takeoff.
  11. The guy nailed it alright. My cousin's husband has quit voting, with the comment "My vote can't undo stupid masses."
  12. Gotta get that Labor Day Sale sale.
  13. This is it! C-7 Caribou. It'll carry plenty of loads into a tight little area. They were doing some impressive STOL work today at Marana airport. Big enough to hold many of us, gear, bikes/quads. Got a back ramp for pushing out cargo or people.
  14. Looks like it is just an aerator for liquid smoke.
  15. You guys are funny! The purpose for the shape is to draw your pistol, insert your hand into the kydex and draw the holster, thus giving you a small gladiator-type shield for edged weapon deflection. Used correctly, the bearer used one holster clip to trap the blade and the other to grasp onto a watch band/freindship bracelet/"Livestrong" band, thusly immobilizing the weapon-bearing hand.
  16. Easy-peasy bro! Basically you're going to be learning to put all your speeds/feeds, radii, sines/cosines, cutter paths into the control panel. As with manual machining, there is always more than one way to skin a cat. Pay attention to tool paths...they can bite you in the azz. So long as you aren't maching clamps, jigs, or fixtures you're good. And you will see scales of magnification of the old adage "The only thing I've ever seen two machinists agree upon is that a third machinist is doing it wrong."
  17. /\/\/\/\ Is that the new "jelly-dong compatible crotchless body armor"?
  18. Locks are to keep honest people honest.
  19. /\/\/\/\ <laughs> When my widowed and thrifty (yeah, okay-cheap) FIL got remarried, she told him "I'm going to walk around in the summer in long pants and a sweater in my house, and shorts and a muscle shirt in the winter in my house. It's my house, I pay the bills. Shutup."
  20. /\/\/\/\ Strong iron in those words. Don't cheap out on anything legal.
  21. Mike...definately Mike on that one! Someone at BATF is blowin' a gasket on this one.
  22. Third largest in the world. First is Smithsonian Air & Space (by a LONG shot), then the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Been there but not the Smithsonian. My understanding is we can book a special all-inclusive tour, to include meals at the restaurant and a tour of AMARC (the Boneyard). It really takes two days to fully injest the entirety.
  23. Welcome from AZ!
  24. Another AZ welcome!
