My buddy had one with the 2" barrel and it was wwaaaayyy more comfortable to shoot than any other snubby revolver I've shot. I don't think the wood will make much difference with the 4" barrel.

RCBS and Dillon have "no questions asked" exchange policies. I know people who have acquired items long out of production from both companies, called for spare parts and were sent entire new units, even though they weren't original owners.
