  1. Glad you figured it out! Now...in the name of science (and the sheer entertainment of your brethren here on the forum)... Turn it back around and, with safety glasses on, see how fast you have to squeeze the hand to get the primer to pop. Video required.
  2. You'd get hammered. But you also aren't required to interject yourself into pursuit after a felony has been committed (observe and report), whereas police are required to do so. It's been awhile since I avoided thrown rocks but, as I quickly closed the ground between me and the thrower, you could easily discern the expression on their face of recognition that they'd made a rather large error in judgement.
  3. That nifty orange case better be bullet-proof for $559.
  4. Don't have a RCBS but do hand prime. Looks like you have the ram for a small primer installed or there is an imperfection on the ram (ram meaning the part that seats the primer in the case).
  5. Yup...these: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Loadbooks-USA-Caliber-Gauge-Specific-Reloading-Manuals/704597.uts Not a big fan of them but they do have the information at hand.
  6. In the bleachers, third one down, 12th from the left edge. Next to Joe.
  7. After they would help you or did you mean to put a "not" in there?
  8. On the wooden oval track. Long lost footage with a pretty cool story behind the film.
  9. Boils down to training. Is hucking rocks considered an illegal use of physical/deadly physical force? Yup. Should an alternative use of force been employed by police? Probably. From everything I've seen, POST has been watered down to "If there is a threat that could cause serious injury, shoot." Heard it from multiple training officers locally. When I was a kid, the local LE used to take down rock throwers by tackle or other means. What changed? <dontknow>
  10. That's what I would think too but I can't find any good, solid references.
  11. Welcome from AZ!
  12. Two recalls...one for the roll bar from a subcontractor "no being to Polaris' stats", and the other one for the upper pinion bearing, in the steering stack.
  13. In my best Aussie accent, "They conSPIRE with the BEAvers!"
  14. <laughs> <lmao>
  15. Oh schit I think I cracked a rib laughing on that one! And the dude giving us valentines is calling US gay. <laughs> :tfg: At least you stocked up on half-price chocolate today.
  16. Those XD/XDm sights are a BYTCH to get off! Especially that front. If you have the means, grind some steel a bit smaller than the dovetail and use an arbor press to push it out.
  17. It was on NBC? Did they have footage of Kyle sniping when Brian Williams was his spotter?
  18. Sisco...what was the name of that range?
  19. Welcome from AZ!
  20. I like the Heine Straight-8 night sights. They come in a Ledge version for most pistols, so as to rack the slide/clear malfunctions one handed, as others have mentioned.
  21. Soldiers and veterans won't die off. I just got back from shooting with a Vietnam vet that's full of piss and vinegar. We've been at war for something like 210 years of our 240 year history. What will kick it off is overbearing arrogant puppets...much like the one in office now.
  22. Started the girl out on pistols, a Ruger MKIII Hunter, at age 4. Two hands, left to steady, right to pull the trigger. All on top of a sandbag. Started her on the rifle later that year, a Cricket (garbage...get something else), with a Rossi Youth Combo a year later. Next month she's joining up with the local Scolastic Sports Shooting Club, the pistol team!
  23. I appreciate the effort bro. What did your neighbors say while you were working on that tan line?
