Someone asked me this recently, "What is the longest successful shot taken by a soldier with a rifle at night?"
<dontknow> My guess was probably 600-800 yards. Just a guess.
My belief is that the ROE heavily restrict any night time shooting by people with rifles, with higher ups instead choosing to leave that work up to Apaches, Spectres, and on-station bombers.
What are our troops issued currently for night time scopes?
