  1. Same can be said for that first stab wound too.
  2. And Mrs. Edgecrusher too! While both were with childrenses!
  3. I forget the where, but the when was in the 1990s and a cop in a small southern town, like 15 officers, was taking advantage of a federal program which supplied surplus military equipment to police forces. Dude had multiple helicopters, a couple of APCs (M113 type), trucks, Humvees, etc. He was of the opinion it was better to get it than let it be scrapped. This is the same program but 20 years after I first saw it reported:
  4. Dude…made our daughter watch the William Shatner version of that scene versus the John Lithgow version. TV viewers of the '60s would watch anything! <laughs>
  5. The dude plays a mean harpsichord!
  6. For those that haven't seen it:
  7. Statement of the year right there!
  8. Hope you practice like the Israelis:
  9. One awesome useful link! Thanks bro!
  10. Your link didn't work gm…notice there are PLENTY of stations near you Tom. <laughs> http://www.pure-gas.org
  11. The service ceiling on the 777 is 43,000'+ some. "Service ceiling" means the ideal optimum performance for that particular platform. "Absolute ceiling" means the maximum attainable altitude under ideal conditions. For most aircraft of this type, that is going to be in the 50,000'-60,000' range. Now if the theory is that the pilot intentionally depressurized the cabin, so that everyone else would be asphyxiated, the theory starts to fall apart. There are multiple automated safety features for cabin depressurization (the pressure safety valve on a 737 is 5'sq), to include diving to a MUCH lower altitude where air density sustains life. Even if the pilot/copilot were able to over ride all the built in automatic safety systems, he couldn't fit in the pilot seat with all the cold weather/high-altitude gear he would need to maintain his body temperature at 40,000'. Look how our WWII bomber crews were dressed for flights at half that altitude, or mountain climbers on Mt. Everest (27,000'). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pressure_suit The simplest answer is Flight 370 is in the ocean. Unless you've been out in the middle of the ocean, you have no appreciation for terms like "vast" or "deep". While I lucked out being on a conventional carrier during Reagan's budget cutbacks, the nuke guys still got to experience long, LONG periods of time in open water. Like 168 days without seeing land, and 180 without stepping foot on land…that's those wonderful Indian Ocean deployments.
  12. Welcome 1sickplum!
  13. Exxon stations were full after the Exxon Valdez accident too. <dontknow> Just like the big line of BS after 9/11…15 of 19 are Saudi citizens, funded by Saudi royals. The USA could have had 20 new refineries and every American employed providing $0.15/gallon gasoline, harvested from Pennsylvania to California, North Dakota to Texas. What's the issue according to them? A retarded S. American "communist" (a bad one, not like a Chinese or Vietnamese commie trading partner, but like a Cuban commie) who should be boycotted…not the Bush/Obama buddies the Sauds. "Can't be done." Bullcrap. We were bombed by Japan in December 1941 and by July 1942 our entire industrial base had been converted, and we were supplying weapons to EVERYONE fighting Italy, Germany, and Japan. Follow the money.
  14. Just like when lobbyists had congress mandate the addition of MTBE to ALL gasoline nationwide, only to discover years later that it poisons water supplies at ridiculously low levels. That quietly went away. Smokestacks aren't very popular after the anti-pollution campaigns of the 1970s…crying Indian and all that. Smoke stays relatively low. Spraying is at tens of thousands of feet altitude. Read the patent applications.
  15. Welcome ARNEWBIE! Anything is customizeable. How deep are your pockets?
  16. Yyeeeaaaahhhh. Just like when we were kids and moved to Kentucky and were made fun of for "Talkin' funny." My brother's response was "YOU talk funny. I talk like people on t.v." <laughs>
  17. Those are quite the reviews. Do you use one?
  18. I bet even the horse's back hurts after hauling those around.
  19. It's all in how it's reported. If someone starts yelling about "They're using chemtrails to modify our DNA to make us compliant!" that's pretty out there. You'd think even the "weather modification" foilheads were out there too. Unless you look at the history of attempted weather modification…a good 500 year history. But when you use terminology like those in the know, you see a correlation between "chemtrails" and "cloud seeding". http://www.nawcinc.com/wmfaq.html http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Emerging-Industry-of-Cloud-Seeding Companies renewing contracts with local governments even makes the news: http://www.9news.com/news/article/290792/222/Company-seeks-to-renew-cloud-seeding-permit Both my Dad (20 year USAF pilot) and Uncle (30+ year USAFR KC-123 crew) used to talk about various spraying operations. Dad said they had what was considered limited success with "weather modification" that he knew about back in the late 1940s and early '50s…then it disappeared off his radar. Okay…cloud seeding is one thing. These conspiracy dudes are yelling about "weather modification". That's impossible! Not according to this company: http://weathermodification.com Who proudly displays their fleet of aircraft: http://weathermodification.com/aircraft.php Now has anyone else gone through a patenting process? We're in it right now and I'll tell you this: you don't spend the time and effort to patent something which you don't intend to profit off of it. This is from the kooks but it is a list of patents pertaining to weather modification, all the way back to the 1920s: http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/an-extensive-list-of-patents/ Alright…maybe there's something to it. But certainly it can't be used like the quack-heads are saying! Interestingly, several years ago while doing some reseach on Syria via the CIA's Worldbook website, I noticed they were signators to a "non-weaponized weather" treaty. Hunh? This one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_Modification_Convention Prohibits the military use of weather modification as a weapon. Floods and droughts are pretty damn devastating…especailly floods after droughts. Is it a conspiracy to kill millions of people, UN Agenda 21, North American Union? I doubt it. Is it a conspiracy to make money off taxpayers, via government programs? Follow the money. Back to the whole "vapor trails"…look up. Been doing it since I was a kid in hopes of seeing Dad. Contrails (condensation trails) are formed after water particles in air are highly compressed in aircraft engines at high altitude. Rapidly heated and vented out the exhaust, it forms a cloud which shortly will expand and evaporate back to the same temperature as the water in the surrounding air. What people call "chemtrails" don't…they stay put on the air currents, expanding outwards and settling into a haze. If you do a seach, you can find videos of the two nearly side-by-side.
  20. Nothing about booby-beads at Mardi Gras?
  21. Sorry…up in Maine. Ko Sho karate.
  22. Professor Higgins at the University of Sydney was giving a lecture on 'Involuntary Muscle Contraction' to the first year medical students. This was not an exciting subject and the professor decided to lighten up the mood. He pointed to a young woman in the front row and asked, 'Do you know what your a$$hole is doing while you're having an orgasm?' She replied, 'Probably golfing with his buddies”.
  23. Great…now I have to purchase a modular IWB holster system.
  24. Diggin' that FAL brother! Dude…no way. I had the wrist rocket to the range last week…just for harrassing lizards.
