  1. And one for all you married folks too!
  2. For all you single bros...
  3. Was just coming on to post this. Don't know but I've heard Springfield will replace only the questionable parts, send you back any of your own parts after replacing them with stock parts again...same thing Ruger does.
  4. Just looked at the Windham Arms Lightweight AR today...with a different upper, it would be very VERY light...it is way light now. I may need one of those also.
  5. Yup...I want to say those with serials lower than 300,000 but I'm not positive. Mine is WELL above the poor heat treat number. I like the ladder sight on it...some ambitious riflemen back then, lobbing .30-06 like artillery!
  6. What a POS! I hope he goes under also.
  7. Mine's a M1903 Remington, paid $550 for it. The 03A3 has a few more stamped parts but upgraded click-adjustable peep sights on the receiver, moved back from on the barrel. Tell him you want the rifle and $75 for your scope package.
  8. At least the .45s seem to be a nonissue. Especially since many places now have the 7-round magazines in stock! You can get them many places...all over really. You can never have too many extra magazines for your carry pistol. Right, Tom? >:D
  9. Wow...a difference of 0.008" and your groups opened up wildly. No wonder seasprite is all over the map!
  10. The forming dies makes sense. A couple of people told me to separate match bullets by the diameter size of the exposed lead on the base, as that shows which die that bullet went through.
  11. Good stuff here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkjVe1uv5Lw
  12. That's a HUGE variation. What is the make of bullet? I hate being anal about loading but if the maker is that inconsistent on bullet length, I'd find another brand. Even my "Midway blemished bullets" don't vary that much. If they were that far off, they'd be separated by length and weight (can't see the weights being that close either), then work up loads for each batch.
  13. I like that Winny too! My buddy has a ultra lightweight .270 Winchester rifle with no recoil pad...makes Mike's WSM feel quite tame.
  14. That's hellaciously light!! You may as well build a dozen while you're at it, Robo!
  15. Yay...math fun-ness. Tom needs to buy a case of microbrew, so we can help him build this: http://ecohearth.com/eco-zine/food-and-garden/650-building-a-solar-powered-food-dehydrator-.html
  16. The girls need to learn the respect also! Hold the door open for your elders (or to be polite), say "Excuse me," instead of barging through, speak loud enough to be heard, etc.
  17. We have a volunteer! <laughs> Way to go Tom...we'll pitch in on some ammo. <lmao>
  18. http://tucsoncelticfestival.org A good time is had by all!
  19. WARNING: May be offensive due to content and language!
  20. :laughing4: When I was still working corrections, our prison complex contained the Minors Unit...teens sentenced as adults (hundreds upon hundreds of the little phukers). For their 18th birthday they all got the same party. Into the unit vehicle sallyport at 2355, van rolls out at midnight, into the appropriate adult unit at 0005. Totally different 'tude come breakfast.
  21. Welcome kiltedcowboy!
  22. Dude...I'm offended! If I'd been there with you I wouldn't have pushed you to buy anything. Until I knew how much money you had on you. <lmao> Someone in this crowd needs a Barrett Fiddy!
  23. I've met cats that make that one seem nice.
  24. http://www.triangletactical.net/2013/08/21/xds-9mm-failure-to-feed/ I've not heard of this issue with the .45 version.
  25. They have photos of the scumbags...shouldn't be long before they're in custody.
