  1. Hey brother, that's still a win, even if you have to pay for it!
  2. I've seen that one before but it's always fun to watch it again! Thanks for posting!
  3. A piece of coat hanger wire is usually the right diameter and the length you'll need is .700. Snip it a little long and use a file to dress the ends square to get to length. It's not critical if it's a hair shorter or longer.
  4. Yah right! That's what I would say too!
  5. A short piece of 1" wooden dowel as a spacer cures that brother! That's what I used on my 308 pistol build. I needed to space that brace because I have pretty long arms!😉
  6. Everything looks normal to me. Must be the NSA hacking your computer since you have a 'dumb phone' and they can't hack that!
  7. I dunno, he may have to only take credit cards, seems there's a coin shortage right now! My wife hauled out several tin canisters the other day that she is hoarding change in for the grandkids in. I told her "OMG!!! YOUR the reason there's a national coin shortage! If the Feds find out we're both going to jail!"
  8. Nope, reread my post. He said it would be shot BEFORE coming in the boat!
  9. FUKKIN EPIC!!! I did pretty much the same thing to one of my dispatchers in a bar parking lot one night. She was fighting with another woman and tried to grab my gun. Took her to jail after I knocked her on her azz!
  10. Yup! my son warned me "Stay away from that fukker until we kill it! They can break your foot flopping around in the boat!" He also told me "If it's a very big halibut I shoot that fukker before it comes on the boat!" BTW, we had some halibut fish & chips at a dive bar called 'The Sand Bar' before we left and that was some good eating! A guy came walking in the back door and stopped at the table and gave my son a joint before going to the bar. Son didn't even know him. He just grinned at me and said "Only in Alaska dad!"
  11. Yeah, that was me! It IS a catchy word though, aint it?
  12. I got that fukker in the boat though, I guess that makes me the winner! Now, he's in my freezer............in pieces!
  13. That WAS pretty epic! Mike drop moment for sure! Yuuuup!!!! Sorry about the lat response, I just got back from Alaska. 30# halibut can be a biotch to reel in, those fukkers like to fight you!😁
  14. I agree! If the dog did it once it will be damn capable of doing it again!
  15. Can't do that in the class I'm shooting the rifle in (USPSA LImited). only one optic is allowed.
  16. I run a 1-4 scope on my competition AR-15 with a set of 45 degree offset iron sights for in close shooting. The 45 degree offsets are very fast to pick up!
  17. Boy, I fukked THAT one up! I meant to say trigger, not hammer!
  18. That would be tough to diagnose without having the pistol in my hands! Usually, if the trigger won't go back it's hanging up on the grip safety. I've seen grip safeties that were fit so close that at times the hammer stirrup wouldn't clear the grip safety tab but at other times it would. If the hammer moves back but the sear isn't releasing then there's an issue between the sear and disconnector, usually it's the disconnector not resetting properly due to not enough tension on the center leg of the sear spring. Another thing to check would be to make sure the trigger has returned to it's forward position when it does this by manually pulling it forward. The trigger travel is so short in these pistols the trigger may not have even reset and you're not aware of it.
  19. I don't even mess with the lighter (I would burn something down) I just shoot them down with the carb cleaner. It knocks them right out of the air and they drop like a rock! Lots of fun!!!
  20. No, but considering the circumstances we did pretty good, we sold around 600 of the 1000 we had.
  21. Well, the drawing is done and I hate to say it but a couple of local people won both of the guns!😕 There were a lot of tickets purchased by members here and I had high hopes of one of these guns going to someone here but it didn't happen. I really want to thank all of you who purchased tickets for the support you've shown this years and over the last several years, it means a lot to me and the generosity of the people here is just amazing! Unlike most years, we didn't get to do our Fallen Officer Run because of the Wuhan flu and this raffle was the only fundraiser we had. It was even hard to sell tickets because of they present situation, but you guys really stepped up. THANK YOU!!!
  22. Here's what came up when I did a search for AR 30 cal. BCG's; https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/bolt-parts/bolt-carrier-groups/index.htm?avs|Cartridge_1=AAK_30%2bCaliber%2b(xzzx308) Those people need to do some work on their website search feature apparently! So, I went back and found that if you scroll down there's another option for 308 BCG's! Why would there be a need for two different categories with two different results? I still think they need work on their website!
  23. Oh, and by the way Belt Fed...............
  24. Well, there you go Tom, mark one off the Unsolved Mysteries books!
