  1. Have you tried it with just one round in the magazine at a time? Oil it up real good and cycle it by hand with an empty magazine in several dozen times then check for any wear marks on all the parts including the mag.
  2. Follow up video by Omaha guns with other striker fired pistols.
  3. Last week it depended on the CS person you got, some were telling people they would be charged and others told people it was free. Last I heard they will be covering all expenses involved.
  4. I don't think and didn't say SIG did this on purpose. Their track record of late shows they release new weapons without thorough testing and then try to slide by as cheap as they can when it comes to getting things straight. Love most of my Sigs, odds are I will buy another SIG someday. I agree this 320 issue seems like a hit job, I am sure there are many pistols that would fire under the same abuse.
  5. What sort of scope are you mounting?

  7. Nope, the edit feature disappears shortly after posting.
  8. Most forward assists in the 308AR's will engage on the shoulder of the carrier but your mileage may vary. There are no hard and fast standards for this platform, I bought a FA that claimed to be specific for 308 AR's and it locked up the carrier without me touching it. You should be able to use a carrier with or without serrations as long as it is DPMS compatible.

  10. In my area auctions seem to bring good money. I rarely found anything at an auction for a reasonable price, most weapons could be bought used at a local shop for less. I think this depends on where you are though, auctions don't seem near as popular in the south or east compared to the midwest.
  11. It wasn't a professional/factory pack job, very much overdone on the peanuts and airbags, with handwritten addresses, could be someone stole a case and is selling them through another party on that auction site, registered it with Bushnell and never heard anything so maybe not......
  12. and it is one of the cheapest scopes used in the review!
  13. The vendor I got mine from listed Dallas as the origin but the scope shipped from Overland Park, Kansas, Bushnell HQ is there. This vendor still has one listed for $1499 but I know he will take less.
  14. I have not been able to sort out exactly what Sig did to solve the issue , I don't recall anyone posting with the issue on the Sig forum for about a year now so they either just quit selling them or got the issue resolved.
  15. Scope is with me in Virginia and the mount was shipped to home in Iowa so it will be a few weeks yet before they are introduced. If the mount would need honed then it gets sent back, they guarantee it lines up perfectly. It is Bushnell's top of the line long range scope. There is lots of testing data for it listed on the Precision Rifle Blog. It was in the top ten list for the PRS circuit for several years, granted in the lower tier of the top ten but just getting there says a bunch. The version I bought has updates meant to address some of the turret issues exposed in the below links. I predict their will be a new version of it issued soon, there are wholesalers blowing them out now for just a bit over half what they were selling for just a year ago, if you could find one. http://precisionrifleblog.com/2014/09/19/tactical-scopes-field-test-results-summary/ http://precisionrifleblog.com/2017/03/03/long-range-scopes-pros-use/ http://precisionrifleblog.com/2014/10/24/best-tactical-scopes-what-the-pros-use/
  16. Yes, yes I do. After having near a dozen interactions with Sig customer service personally and spending several years on a Sig forum reading about hundreds of other interactions and the bullschit statments people are given I have arrived at this conclusion. Have I heard or read this from any Sig exec's, no, but this is a regular occurrence with Sig. If they have not determined that an early release of a faulty weapon is still more profitable than a delay for in-depth testing then I am at a loss as to why they would repeat this over and over. The 320 is not an isolated issue for them it is part of a pattern they have established. P938, for over two years people are told their grip is causing the issue, the trigger is designed to be heavy, your weapon is in spec, then quietly they issue a new modified MSH and mag catch. MCX, hammers are getting broken, gouging on the inside of the receiver, your weapon is in spec, expect some normal wear, then quietly they issue a voluntary recall for the carriage assembly and triggers. 227 TacOps, it is an ammo issue, you are not holding the weapon properly, your weapon is in spec.....quietly they exchange modified magazines to those that complain. I could keep going. They seem to always fix the issue but at the cost of customers time, ammo, and frustration. Don't get me wrong, I will never part with my MK25's or PM400, simply love the problem free performance, but I will never buy a new model from Sig that has not been on the market for 5 plus years and has a clean track record, I don't like beta testing their 716 for them and will not fall for it again.
  17. No, the 320 was introduced January 15, 2014, before the military contract competition was announced in september 2015. It is just a culture thing with Sig, they make some fantastic weapons but they tend to rush everything to market then make adjustments from there. I think they have discovered most of what they sell only ever sees a few dozen rounds and spends its life in a safe so they will not have to fix those.
  18. Heavy! Don't have a scale to check Bushnell's claimed 2 pound 5 ounces. by the time I add the mount and some lens covers it will be knocking on 3 pounds.
  19. It is in Sig's culture now, 516, 716, 938, MCX are just a few they have released within the last decade that needed an upgrade right away. They always fix it but it is not cool to have customers do your beta testing unless you tell them first. I think Robo got in on some of that with his TacOps.
  20. Now I see you have a regular bull barrel in 24 inch as well, I'm starting to see another build coming......
  21. Do you have the barrel alone available?
  22. yep, Sig is attaining a good track record for getting their paying customers to beta test their products then fixing what is fuc'd up, MCX for example. https://www.sigsauer.com/press-releases/mcx-mandatory-carriage-assembly-replacement-program/
  23. Same here, gunsmith friend in Bristol put one in and said it was worth twice the money.
  24. Hope it holds out till my next expense check, been a little free with my money on the new scope lately........
