  1. How many rounds fired? Might be as simple as a few more rounds to break it in. Pictures and measurements of your spring and buffer will help the real Gurus here with diagnoses.
  2. If you are bending the firing pin then something is wrong. I would bet Fulton would stand behind their product. From what I read there people were loading the 260 very hot and creating their own issues.
  3. You just can't build anything precision in the AR platform "cheap", better to take your time and buy quality as you can afford it. When it comes to HP bolts look at Fulton, I am putting one in a build , top quality for about half of a JP.
  4. I look at the resume of the person giving the information, Todd Hodnet, impeccable credentials, Barfcom posters unknown credentials.
  5. Lots of opinions, I'd think the 260 would have a slight advantage in the 308AR platform with the 308 being parent cartridge, less shoulder angle and more body taper for feeding reliability. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/06/17/birds-of-a-feather-260-remington-vs-6-5-creedmoor/ http://demigodllc.com/articles/6.5-shootout-260-6.5x47-6.5-creedmoor/ https://www.dailyshooting.com/260-remington-vs-6-5-creedmoor/ http://www.recoilweb.com/todd-hodnett-the-long-range-cowboy-108460.html
  6. The fanciest sights in the world will never substitute for rounds down range. Anyone that sticks himself in a box will be buried in it, if you train with many different techniques and often then your muscle memory will take care of you when you need it.

  8. Not sure but his site still shows a blem 308 BCG and you can get the discount with the 308AR code.
  9. That is what I'm used to seeing as well. Got about a half a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff waiting for my time.
  10. I was still not having luck with the website so I asked dave; Hi Jim, We decided to stop selling BCGs directly and continue to sell them through our wholesale channels, so they were taken off the site. Best, Dave Bummer...........
  11. I've shot a BUNCH of that, good stuff! Too bad all they have listed now is supersonic stuff.
  12. I did plaster that review around the net a bit.......
  13. Standard 175 gr FGMM is my favorite load but I may have to try those. Juyordered a couple boxes of another new FGMM load, 185 gr.

  15. I almost deleted this email from Midway, glad I didn't because I had no intention of visiting the site. The reviews seem to have finally got through to them, after about 6 emails telling me I was out of luck this one shows up; Dear Jim, Thank you for your review regarding the IMI Ammunition. I am very sorry for the delay in our response, however because this ammunition did not live up to our standards I have issued a refund for the purchase price to your account in store credit. 16. Daily deal again, they must have semi loads of this stuff, I gotta lay off it and get some 175's!
  17. Haven't seen that combo on 5.56. Any idea what the packaging looks like? Might have some and not realize it.
  18. 300 Black Out......300 Black Out......300 Black Out......300 Black Out......300 Black Out......300 Black Out......300 Black Out......subtle enough?

  21. Maybe I'll send you a box of the replacement IMI to "test" for me.
  22. This takeover was done decades ago, people are now just starting to realize it, read about this man, he honestly thought he was doing good which made him so effective and dangerous. I firmly believe he will eventually be seen as the man who originated this "Deep State" or at least facilitated its takeover of our government; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays
  23. I lucked out and got my last MWI QD for $1. Even at a higher price I like their finish, it isn't that it is glossy enough to be real reflective but the phosphate ones I have make a squeaky little noise when they turn in the socket where the MWI just glide quietly. I also prefer the style with the raised edge around the button.
  24. Is this the Federal 223 headstamped stuff? The Federal 5.56 XM193 I have has all been headstamped LC. I just bought three extra decapping pins but really don't want to mess with the stuff if it's a hassle, I'll just toss it in the box for the brass exchange program at Freedom, they get all my Berdan primed cases
  25. Glad to hear the rifle is running good, maybe PSA has reached a turning point. Let's hope they keep it up.
