  1. You are not. AR-10 is an Armalite pattern, many vendors use the name to describe any old 308AR but it can lead to much confusion when buying parts. I'm not familiar with Del-ton's offerings but have seen posts on it here in the past, try the search function, you might just find an answer.
  2. Welcome from Iowa, via Kansas!
  3. Worth getting all those early Sabbath albums, not sure any of their earlier stuff got any air time in the day.

  6. Happy Birthday Mack!
  7. Raspberry Milk Stout from Left Hand Brewing in Longmont CO. I can get a hint of raspberry on the nose with some smoky touches. Starts out with hints of a raspberry shake, fresh ripe raspberries, finishes with notes of coffee and a smoky malt. Lighter than I expected, a tasty after dinner beer.
  8. Zeelander IPA with New Zealand's Nelson Sauvin hops from Toppling Goliath in Dechora IA. Mostly citrus on the nose but I think I smelled a little rising bread dough. A fresh hop bomb front to back, ripe grapefruit with sweet pineapple, mandarin orange up front, lemon zest in the middle turning to a floral pine like dry bitter. You can feel the hop resin coating your mouth, I really like this beer.
  9. I've had a couple 6.5 Grendel parts boxes going since @98Z5V laid out his builds with all that data I know I can't plug and play those loads but figured I'd get the same barrels and be pretty close. I got the 12 incher finished, mostly, last year but the supply of that 18 incher Tom used was out, been out, when BA announced they would not be making Grendel barrels for the foreseeable future I figured that build went to the wayback burner. My LGS had this fancy 18 incher they have tried to talk my wife into getting me for a gift but the tag has stupid money on it so I've never really looked at it seriously, neither did she. But yesterday the stars aligned, not sure if it was for me or my gun pusher? but anyway I had been selling a few old tools from the basement stash, figured there might be some extra cash floating around soon, turned out there is, people are spending stupid money. So I'm feeling good when I stop in the LGS on the regular ammo ration run, decided to ask what his best price really was on that barrel, he goes down a bit but I say for that I ought to get a bolt with it, he says for that he will throw in a whole BCG, trap sprung, I'm got, $600 for the pair, this bitch better shoot! Stupid money........... With the stupid money spent on a light weight barrel I'm starting to rethink a few of the parts, love that 15 inch Wilson Combat TRIM rail but this seems like a good place to use a carbon fiber rail, some titanium small parts and I could have a Breaststrokers special! https://www.bsfbarrels.com/product-page/6-5-grendel
  10. Two years later I finally got around to ordering that Survivor Cord sling, more specifically a Baldric to carry my Junglas and a few other goodies. You can see @beachmaster found a way to get a little extra length involved, the green Baldric is the standard weave, from measuring what's left I would say there is just over 40 foot of the Survivor cord in it. The Velcro straps that came with the cordage were incorporated, works great to gather things up for storage, I'm thinking they would hold a CAT tourniquet, just in case the Junglas gets away from me.

  13. @Chistang.GT I forgot to ask the rail height on your receiver, the page linked runs through what that Wilson rail fits, the DPMS high pattern.
  14. Welcome from Iowa!
  15. https://shopwilsoncombat.com/TRIM-Tactical-Rail-Interface-Modular-AR-10-DPMS-10/productinfo/TR-TRIM-AR-10-D-10/ Maybe I wouldn't say easy, it takes a bit more work with the barrel nut shims(unless you just happen to get the right shim stack first try) They are solid rails, get an extra rail section if they have them as the rail is discontinued but hard to get anything that quality for more than double the money.
  16. Vanilla Cherry Stout, Bourbon barrel aged from Central Waters Brewing in Amherst, WI. Been seeing more of their stuff on the shelves here, lots of barrel aged offerings. Has that booze on the nose, a hint of smoke. Touch of booze up front, goes quickly to a REAL fresh cherry taste, like in real fresh tart cherries off the tree flavor. That tart is balanced by that creamy you get from the vanilla, as the cherry fade you get that smoky stout backbone with the vanilla for balance again. A very enjoyable sipper, not as heavy as some of these fancy beers can be but NOT short on flavor.
  17. Only a couple four packs left when I got there, thanks for the heads up
  18. Outstanding Work! I just wish I had some lighting
  19. Honey Luna Honey Amarillo DIPA from Nocoast Beer Co in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Has a real malty ale and biscuit aroma with a hint citrus. That malt backbone with honey is there right up front, same as aroma with the biscuit in there, I think Marzen not IPA, even a bit of that banana in the middle then some citrus, like lemon lime citrus, then wham, a good dose of dry pine for a finish. Good, I don't get a real sweet honey but it's there, this is one of the widest flavor profiles I've experienced, a sip tells a story.
  20. yep, jokes on us............. and it's not really funny but our present political situation is a joke.
  21. Fulton Armory is where you want to look for one, and they say they have one in stock. https://www.fulton-armory.com/bolt-catch-screw-and-plate-for-far-308.aspx
  22. Yep, pictures are a must, get the bolt face as well as the brass. Have you cycled through loaded rounds to see if your getting any bullet setback? Headspace would have been my first question, what brand gauges did you use? I have that same barrel sitting in a parts box so I'll be following along here for sure. and Welcome From Iowa!
  23. Haven't seen it here...... better make a run this week
  24. Call for that one right up there^^^^^^^ You will get a functioning rifle. I would usually recommend building but I've been watching for a few parts to complete builds for months now.
  25. They have been and with a wide variety. Sadly there was nothing new from them here this last month. Zeelander from TG was on the shelf, and sitting on mine
