  4. Got one of their 300BO pistol barrels, the threads were way off concentric so it wouldn't come close to passing the suppressor gauge. Don't remember if it was email or a contact form but I let them know, they asked for the barrel, sent me a new one and it worked fine. I don't think it took very long either. Now that pistol never saw any longer range shooting while I had it, just 15-25 yard steel so can't attest to accuracy but it for sure worked.
  5. Did you take things apart and look for any debris or damage? Sometimes a bit of primer can end up in the wrong place.
  6. Term limits are a fix for lazy voters. What will happen is the parties will use term limits to rid themselves of the few that don't play well with them, they have a deep bench of minions willing to tow the party line for a bit of power. I'm thinking that voting is pretty much meaningless on the fed level now anyway.
  7. ^What he said^ Combine what's already a light buffer that Aero uses with a lighter than normal BCG and the thing is flying.
  8. I get a good bit, just don't have that Belt Fed money to get my ration daily.
  9. Gather Tac 18 is an A model, same mags as your Saint? I have a B model, I wouldn't be afraid to lay out the money for anything marked ArmaLite.
  10. Schit seems to get louder every year.
  11. If you road trip to my home town you can get three boxes of Wolf steel case per day until the pallet is gone, this pallet is $10.99 a box, up from $6.99 on the last one. There were some boxes of match stuff last I was there but I have been buying the black till it ran out a couple weeks back.
  12. Nice build post
  13. Wish there was a way to get all that data into a pinned thread with a good title so it's easier to locate, lots of good data there.
  14. Fire in the hole then, set up a camera and share the experience, definitive proof one way or the other I guess. For future information seekers that may stumble across this thread, pure sarcasm on my part, there is no good reason to ever mix the bolts and barrels on these platforms.

  16. Just part of the regular regiment for bladder cancer, CT, scope, scrape, repeat in 6 months, last check was clean
  17. Can't say I have heard of any, occasionally a person might have to open up a small port but most of the bigger barrel manufacturers are dialed in. It's a balancing act, I imagine midlength would function with more extreme underpowered loads than the rifle gas but many here including myself have 16" rifle gas barrels that are reliable. If your gonna shoot thousands of rounds in a field environment and it has to go bang every time then mid-length it is, just be aware that gas tubes all muddled up with lots of proprietary lengths these days.
  18. One of the biggest issues we see here is miss matched parts in the buffer system, there are two main systems. I'd do some reading here before you start ordering parts, could save you headache and a few bucks.
  19. An 18 inch rifle gas would be a soft shooter.
  20. It's special because they are all the right weights, lengths, and sizes, a proven recipe, or rather a big part of a proven recipe. You can put the same recipe together from a few different sources but the kits hard to beat price wise even if it has gone up $20 in the last couple years. What inside length extension are you planning on?
  21. It would be if you wanted a bullet proof buffer system for a 308AR.
  22. Then don't do this; Get the Armalite kit; https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT01&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories/Lower-Receiver-Parts&Category=ac614400-ff09-4cdf-9d35-419a654e7201 No need for this then; Honestly from your parts list it looks like a race gun.
  23. Seems like the cam pin location or something measured from the cam pin location might have been different by a touch, don't recall for sure. I would recommend a bit of time on a search engine to find the drawings if you have to know all the details. I had the same question years ago and wasted a good bit of time to find out the guy that said they weren't compatible was right. Make sure to hit up the introduction section and tell us a bit about yourself, BEFORE you decide to try that passing headspace with live ammo.
  24. Cause there different, at one time I saw a comparison drawing that showed it. There's a thread here somewhere that a bunch of us posted critical dimensions for all sorts of 308 AR bolts. In short just get an Armalite BCG and you can run the pair in what you want.
