  1. I'm surprised they don't have Iowa on that no ship to list. Our state law has kept all the binary triggers out along with all sorts of other gadgets, gonna have to do some more checking on this.
  2. Gotta keep the minions happy, takes a lot of people to make a bloated government run...........
  3. There's a reason DD has been able to charge more than average, they have a rep for being above average. We rarely hear from M&P owners and that is a good sign really, the PA-10 is a regular in the "what's wrong with my gun" threads.
  4. Welcome from Iowa!
  5. Blackberry Lemonade Monster Hustle IPA from The Brewing Projekt in Eau Claire WI, another treat from Wisconsin. Fresh berries on the nose. Flavor is right on the name, a real fresh berry and lemonade flavor through out. More of the fizzy lemonade flavor at the front with the end having that pithy dry. It's almost a sour, maybe not a sour, it's tart and tasty for sure.
  6. Wet Hopped "Dare Mighty Things" IPA from The Brewing Projekt in Eau Claire WI. Via my Wisconsin Brother. Citrus on the nose, lemon and orange. Hop heavy, loads of hops, the taste is so fresh green you expect to see green. A very creamy brew, fluffy white foam hangs tough to the somewhat sweet but pithy finish.
  7. Welcome from Iowa!
  8. Merry Christmas!

  14. @98Z5V turned me on to these a good while back when I couldn't find a switch block. Now I'm having a hard time finding the normal gas block models I would look to in .875 and ran across it again while searching, the seed sprouted Tom Going to go on a 24 inch 260 Rem. for ease of swapping between suppressed and non. Going to be a mostly handloads gun so the fine adjustments will hopefully provide that proper save your brass but still function well sweet spot. https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Seekins-Precision-Select-Adjustable-Gas-Block-8-p/skn-0011510067.htm
  15. The Emperor of Ice Cream Imperial Milk Stout from Lion Bridge Brewing in Cedar Rapids Iowa. They say strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate on the label and I get that on the nose, maybe more like a black cherry but for sure an inky black look. Sweet and creamy up front, cherry ice cream like, the sweet is subdued by the malty char, subdued but not removed. Good stuff, not as heavy as it tastes.
  16. Seams like fresh wheat beer in Germany was a colder season thing as well, this one did bring me right back to Germany for sure!
  17. Brought to me by a Brother in Wisconsin, Summer Shadows wheat ale with some fruit, from Pipeworks Brewing Co. of Chicago, ILL. I can smell the sour fruit and the wheat beer breadiness. I had always said I didn't like sour beers but then I had some like this sour. It has that bread dough tartness with fresh fruit on it. There is some sweet, some sour, some dry white wine, lots of flavors but none over powers the other. Brings me back to liter glasses of fresh wheat beer with a big slice of lemon in it, I catch myself gulping it down the same way, VERY drinkable.
  18. An ESEE Candiru, just a tiny little thing. I etched and blued the logos, stripped the coating, put a decent edge on the spine for fire starting, and etched my youngest Grandsons initials on it, it's a gift for his first birthday.
  19. Me Time hazy IPA from Lion Bridge Brewing in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Pillowy white foam on the pour, thick creamy head. Fresh green on the nose, pine and dank with a touch of fresh cut front yard. So there is a good punch of citrus, orange and lemon up front, some orange cream pop in the middle but that sweet is balanced by a fresh green bitter, pine and dank on the finish. Taste fresh like most of what these guys do.
  20. Wow, just wow, this barrel oozes "we give a schit!" I shouldn't be surprised and probably shouldn't gush over it until it makes a tiny group but wow is it nice looking! The uniformity of the bead blast is stellar, shiny ramps and chamber, and a crown that looks good at 7x.....made me smile They are less popular calibers and sizes but Wilson is having one hell of a sale on a few different barrels right now.......... I'm gonna be broke for a bit.
  21. Looks like they are after the build kits right now. They ain't gonna wait for the new boss, or is it same as the old boss?
