Your killing me man, I'd head to the store right now if I thought I could get something even close to that!
  2. Chill Hop DIPA from Exile Brewing in Des Moines, Iowa. Has a hint of pine, juicy fruit gum, and fresh cut grass. WOW, unusual but so tasty, deep flavors. Some ripe melon sweet and mild pine up front. Hints of juicy fruit gum in the middle with a piney dank finish. Very well balanced between sweet and bitter, creamy goodness!

  5. If quick release isn't needed take a look at AADMOUNT. Rock solid stuff, lots of features, not quick release but when using a torque driver I get an excellent return to zero when taking it off and on. http://shop.aadmount.com/AR-Mounts_c2.htm
  6. Fathers day so I treated myself to two today, Tickling The Ivories IPA brewed and canned for Hoof Hearted Brewing by Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore NY. It has a tropical fruit and melon aroma, just a hint of breadiness. First flavor up reminded me of ripe cantaloupe, goes to a mild pithy bitter but balanced very well with a touch of citrus sweet. Finishes with a mild pine and fresh floral note. Real creamy smooth, rich but not super heavy. A very well done FRESH tasting IPA!
  7. Neon Daydream Hazy Ale from Deschutes Brewery in Bend Oregon. Has that hoppy citrus aroma with a hint of malt. Has a citrus flavor with a mild pithy dry. Very light, not sweet but not bitter, a crusher for a hot summer day.
  8. asmr frisson 001 Sour ale brewed with wild blueberry rolled oats and milk sugar, Brewed and canned for Stillwater Artisanal by Dorechester Brewing of Boston, Mass. and Distributed by 12%. Has a mild sour fruit aroma. Has a good blast of fizzy sour up front then transitions to a milder blueberry tart crossed with a blueberry shake. Very light and fizzy. Maybe these sours are starting to grow on me, super refreshing, crisp and clean in the mouth. If you like wild blueberry then get some, it won't disappoint.

  10. I had that issue with a couple Lancer mags, ended up replacing that bolt catch when it broke with a Sig 716 bolt catch and now the one Lancer mag I saved that had the issue works in that rifle.
  11. Apple Crumb Cake from Decadent Ales, brewed and canned by Dorchester Brewing Co. Boston Mass. Has a green apple aroma, you can smell the sour. Flavor is not near as sour as the aroma would indicate. Crumb cake isn't what I get, I get a dead ringer for Mom's sour cream apple pie, lots of cream with a little bit of apple. Hints of spice like cinnamon and nutmeg with just enough sweet to balance the sour apple flavor. Not a crusher for a hot afternoon but a great desert beer!
  12. Not up on the 80% stuff myself but we have a thread with lots of different brand bolt catches and the dimensions that may help on that end, please add to it if you have something not listed there.

  14. and it's on sale https://www.cdnnsports.com/noreen-bn-36x3-carbine-30-06.html
  15. Not really needed unless you plan to use a suppressor or know you have an oversized gas port. Go with a non-adjustable to start would be my advice.
  16. For a precision rifle the barrel, trigger, and bolt are top consideration. Trigger wise that MBT from LaRue is tops for the money, want something with adjustments and a stellar reputation the Geissele National Match trigger is just outstanding but near 4 times the money. Barrels are the same way, plenty of good button rifled target barrels for reasonable money, Criterion, Ballistic Advantage, Faxon, and many more. I have a BA 20 in. match barrel that shoots great, if you step up to those big name target barrels you can pay three times as much and have a long wait. Do you want a rifle length buttstock or the carbine length for an adjustable stock? If carbine then get the whole buffer kit from Armalite, it has the correct length extension. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT01&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories/Lower-Receiver-Parts&Category=ac614400-ff09-4cdf-9d35-419a654e7201 If rifle length then, https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT02&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories/Lower-Receiver-Parts&Category=ac614400-ff09-4cdf-9d35-419a654e7201 Barrel length, are you going to push a thousand yards? If not, say 800 yds. and less no reason a 16 in. wouldn't get it done for you. If weight doesnt matter pin that thing down with a 20 in. bull barrel, got my BA 20 inch cheap and like new from someone that just couldn't stand the weight, these things get heavy fast.
  17. An interesting review style, more about the mechanics, the engineering of the weapon.

  23. Possibly there to fail before the aluminum? Cheaper to replace a pin than the tool.
  24. So damn good!
