  1. I honestly don't remember for sure, seems like it was right on the edge. I remember not cranking down to hard on the second screw.
  2. I have seen the Sea Quench where I am at wally world Gonna look for the others for sure.
  3. Not a fan of them for actual cleaning but I do pull one through after getting it out of the case at the range or in the field, positive confirmation of no bore obstruction or too much oil.

  5. Maybe I need to try the right one, wasn't an IPA fan until you guys steered me the right direction.

    Fuk that makes me hungary!
  7. I left it alone, no need to open it up as function has been flawless both normal and suppressed. I put the size in the beginning of the thread I posted above, .073". I was surprised it did not need opened up since my 716 has shown signs of being undergassed, must be in the piston portion.
  8. 716 is a piston gun. I used a SLR gas block dimple jig to get it positioned exactly. The block hangs a bit over the journal ledge but that hasn’t been an issue, could be with a different block though.
  9. Always love Milwaukee tools, older Porter Cable are the only drills I have seen come close to them. Besides cursing I always believed in a good swift kick, when someone can't get something working on the jobsite my first question is always, "Did you kick it?"

Love a balsamic marinade with chicken, looks just right
  11. Suppressor is the way to go, makes it a blast to shoot.
  12. That seems like an obvious place to start, eliminate the ammo, by the lot number, first, then start looking at the BCG. Please share that info! I have regularly recommended ammo with those "plastic" tips as accurate hunting bullets for AR's and will stop doing that if I see evidence of an issue like that.
  13. Nice work!
  14. ..................I think both

    can't beat aged beef!
  16. The Perfect Disguise by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE. Has a sweet malt and citrus aroma. Flavor is a very pleasant melon with caramel like malt backbone. The finish has some citrus with a touch of pithy dryness. Very tasty beer that's easy drinking, the 8% ABV is well hidden, a perfect disguise.
  17. I have a build with a 16 inch Sig M400 barrel ready to go together when I have time. They are standard AR15 spec. Fit and finish are very good, accuracy to be determined.
  18. I have them in three rifles and no issues, Aero, Matrix, and Sig. Not sure where the thread is but I did some comparison measurements and posted it here when I had a catch break in a Matrix build, not sure what brand the broken catch was as it came with the Matrix receiver set.
  19. I have been getting lots of PM's about this build. Still $49.99, shows 53 in stock now, the 308 marked versions are gone but I don't see much difference in the ones I have. Just a month ago they had both versions and showed 70 something in stock. I think I may just SBR one of these.
  20. About as compact as practical, better jump on one those barrels if you want to build one, been getting PM's on a few different sites asking for details:
  21. I can’t remember if I have used one on a DPMS pattern bolt. I can give it a try when I get home in a week or so.
  22. Many manufacturers are touting this loose feature as a way to ease over-gassing on 308 AR's. My AR-10 McFarland rings have always been tight; https://www.armalite.com/product/ea1055-ar10-mcfarland-gas-ring/

  24. Here is a link to my build with the SIG barrel. It works as does the SIG bolt that CDNN sells. I may have waited to order the tube until I had barrel and receiver in hand but it should be the same as mine.
  25. The barrels are good, no issues with the build from the barrel. My P716 is a jam-O-matic but no issue with the barrel and bolt, the bolt catch turns out to be a great part for my builds so far.
