Just got my second $10 coupon from Magpul, took a picture of the medium DAKA pouch I got on the last order, Magpul tough schit for sure! http://media.magpul.com/display/t/DAKA-bags-have-endless-possibi/magpul-Product/d16b0016-bb7e-11e9-adeb-22000a223b2a?utm_source=rivetworks&utm_medium=ugc-post

Highly doubt you have any issues with the lower. Once saw a comparison article in Shotgun News on lowers. They compared something like 10 different lowers, I recall Stag, Aero, Spikes and Anderson being in the mix. Anderson was in the top two or three in all categories and even beat Aero having tighter tolerances. I have never had an issue with them myself. What can is that? Almost looks like a SDN-6? Love mine!

I Don't Like Mondays NEIPA by Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. Stratford, CT. and distributed by 12%. Has a tropical fruit aroma with a bready, malty background. Flavor is malt forward, a sweeter, light caramel like malt. The hops come in the middle with some tropical fruit notes and a touch of citrus. Only a mild bitter in the finish but it is combined with a real creamy finish, a little milkshake action. A very easy drinking beer, chugging material but 7.5% ABV so you'll know it if you do chug a few!

Any more details on the issue, does it not always grab or is it the small engagement surface area you are talking about? I use 716 catches on all my 308AR's now, found them more reliable than others. One of the few functions my P716 has never had an issue with.

Just make the investment, they will be around long after you forget how much they cost. Why chance this?

There is one game warden for literally thousands of square miles. Nobody wants them around anyway. There was eventually some quid pro quo dealt out, law enforcement gets one shot and fixing things like that in my country, they know when they don’t it will be handled, Kinda a wink and nod thing.

Deer hunters shot our pony one year and a goat the next, worst part is they didn't have permission to hunt the place but nothing was done about it, shot right off the road about 75 yards into the pasteur, both were using scoped rifles??!!!??

Supa Sumo DIPA in a can by Toppling Goliath Brewing in Decorha Iowa. Had this in a bottle last fall and it was great, this can did not disappoint! Has a citrusy pineapple aroma. Flavor just explodes, orange, pineapple, mango, all those tropical notes you expect with a DIPA loaded with fresh hops. Just the right amount of bitter to balance the fruity sweetness, even a hint toffee/caramel malt. This schit is ambrosia! If you look close you can see the plastic label is on a Golden Nugget can, sure hop they put out a fresh batch of nugget soon!

Grapefruit Bohemian Sour Ale with Grapefruit by Exile Brewing in Des Moines, Iowa. Has that sour aroma but a little sweet, definitely smell grapefruit. Flavor is similar, good sour pucker up front followed by some sweet grapefruit. Not tasting any ale in here, just a tart fizzy drink. OK but wouldn't buy a six pack.

How much cheaper? I have a 7.62 marked barrel that may need the same length, I haven't mocked it up yet. Wishing I would have just gotten two of the 308 marked barrels so I could have all the same length......hindsight and all.

Winchester had a hardware store chain in the 1920's. Supplied all kinds of sporting goods, household items, and a large selection of tools all marked Winchester. I have a few tucked away at home but no pictures with me. One of my favorites is an Old Trusty saw that has an etch of a man riding a horse with his lever action rifle. I believe they are made by Ballistic Advantage, my BA match 308 barrel shoots lights out. -
I'm seeing issues now, spinning circle in the post box, links don't embed like they used to, and unable to make an edit.

Lane's: jtallen83 inspired 21.750" 300 AAC Blackouts
jtallen83 replied to Lane's topic in 300 AAC Blackout
There's a reason this company calls itself RangerProof, and I doubt they think their stuff can't be broke but they do know the height of the bar they set. https://rangerproofswag.com/ "Rangers are inherently hard on gear, and equipment by virtue of their jobs. We knew that if a Ranger could not break it or make it inoperable, he would just eat it. Our gear is made tough enough for a Ranger…. and totally inedible. Our shooting gear products are RANGER PROOF." -
I was wrong, CDNN does still have these Nordic Comp 300 BO pistol barrels, $89.99 https://www.cdnnsports.com/ar15-barrel-300-blackout-10-5in-black-teflon-1-8.html?___SID=U#.XUyM8OhKjb0

Going back to something mentioned by @308kiwi maybe measure the cam pin. Being a PSA part I would be curious.
-
Gotta brag up this Nordic Comp barrel, shoots super tight groups with Remington subs, like under 2 inch at 100 yards with irons and for my old eyes that is great, at about 20 yards it hit the 2 inch repeatedly without a miss. The fit and finish was impeccable. Wishing I would have bought two while they had them, even though I don't need another 300 BO..........
-
You certainly can, just helps tame them down and lower the amount of gas being directed to the action. I run my Armalite with a heavy buffer and Tubbs spring, no adjustable gas block, being a 20 inch rifle also helps some.
-
No need for an adjustable block unless you plan to run a suppressor.
-
That tells me there are two different configurations then. Is your barrel marked 7.62x51 or 308 Win? I have both but forgot to check the spare and can’t remember which one I built off of. Gotta get that on the things to do list for the next trip home.
-
@willbirdWhere in the cam pin cut out did the 11 1/8 inch gas tube fall? Starting to look like there are at least two different setups on the gas port, my 11 inch falls just a bit past center. Run that thing for a bit before changing anything up, break-in may solve any function issues. @shooterrexNice looking rig, gotta love a shorty!

Been looking at these; https://faxonfirearms.com/match-series-18-heavy-fluted-6-5-grendel-416-r-5r-nitride-nickel-teflon-extension/ https://ballisticadvantage.com/18-inch-65-grendel-spr-fluted-midlength-ss-premium-barrel.html Still hoping to find something like these but with matching bolts. I think I'm gonna build it on that Vltor MUR upper.
