Which is the Armalite pattern by the way. I think that you need to slow down and find out exactly what you have there first before progressing. Not trying to be a dick, just that you need to keep in mind that there are a couple different patterns on the large AR platform. And a couple of them are proprietary designs.

True, but mine are "fictional" action stories that are thought up to be told in the multi-part format. Mini-series style. Now you've got actual "boots on the ground" fox-style reporting to do, my good man. And after action reports should be complete yet concise.

I don't understand what you might have against adjustable blocks? I use them on most of my AR-10's. Granted I use them for suppressed use. But for shutting off the gas so the rifle will only single fire, sounds like a no-brainer to me. But, to each his own.
