Well...........I think that you know one or two things on the topic my brother.

Yeah, that tends to happen. I think it's fair to ask "friends" to supply their own ammo. Especially when you hit 300 black. Granted, it's coming down in price, but it's still a little steep compared to other calibers. Though.....I'll have a couple ammo cans of it in the desert with me in the fall......for all the fella's. That's different of course. The low-life bastards............................................

Yeah it is. But his is on a FN. Mine is only on a Sig or an HK . And this year I'll have the new can with me. The Ty-rant M. She's a little shorter when unscrewed of the nosepiece. To help her be a little less unwieldy. Though.......I was always happy with the original one for it's "silence", for lack of better words.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've got a slight strike on my original 762-SD AAC can. It hasn't affected how it runs. And I run it on my SASS when I don't use the SDN6. And more than likely, the way they weld (bond) these things together.....there probably isn't much that they can do for you, besides replace it. But I'm not sure. And would it be on them?

I think brother Magwa, Mike (as a fellow drummer) could appreciate this. Grand Funk Railroad. Don Brewer was (still is) a pretty kick ass drummer. This was from the early 70's. That thing is sexy JT. I'd avoid the water though. All it does is turn into a gummy substance. And you really don't get much more sound reduction from it either. Way to go brother. I'm happy for you. 11 1/2 months? Man that's F-ing long. No reason for it to be like that.
