For the record, it's not an all-out ban on AR's and AK's. It's not that they're illegal to own, which is a good thing since I've built and own many variations of these EVIL black rifles. It's a ban on any new transfers. Now with that, I still think it's bull$hit. Especially since it only targets AR-15's and AK's.
And just to show the full mentality of those bozo's over in Annapolis making these laws as a knee jerk to that Sandy Hook incident. They decided that it'll be "safer" in the state if they ban the ongoing sales of AR-15's and AK's.
Oh, but you can still buy AR-10's.
Oh, and you can still buy AR-15's as long as they have a heavy barrel (since we all know that they can't kill people as much as standard or pencil barrels).
Oh, and you can still buy suppressors.
Oh, and you can still build SBR's (albeit as long as you already had a lower before the ban went into effect).
Oh, and you can still buy FUKING machine guns (subs or belt-fed) if you so desire.
But, being that the bleeding heart, hand wringing, bed wetting fuking liberals are in charge of this state. They stand by the statement that "it was for the children", or "it was for the general safety of the public". They can ALL kiss my ass!
I just hold on to the hope that it doesn't get much worse as I get closer to winding down my career. After all, this is where the money is at for me right now. If I "absolutely" had to, I could always move into that cesspool known as Virginia, But I don't have any faith for either of the two states that touch Washington DC. It's only a matter of time before some of the liberal nonsense around here gets over into VA. After all, the pretentious cocksuckers of northern VA are the ones that run that state. And they're just as bad as anybody in this $hithole state of mine. As soon as I hit retirement, I'm outta this place and off to Wyoming. To become even more of a hermit trying to avoid society (for their sake).
