  1. Wait a minute. I thought you worked in a gun shop micro. Aren't you supposed to be on the lookout for the rest of us? <laughs>
  2. Welcome aboard Russ.
  3. That was sick. Talk about big brass ones! Gorgeous mountain range though. Don't know about riding a bike through there. But I'd love to do some hiking through an area like that.
  4. <thumbsup>
  5. Welcome aboard mastercylinder.
  6. You sure that's not a deer with a Viking hat on? <laughs>
  7. Yes. An extra heavy buffer from heavybuffers.com. I use one in my AR-10 SBR that I built last year. She runs pretty good, even without an adjustable block. Even suppressed.
  8. Welcome aboard buzziebells.
  9. Welcome from MD.
  10. I feel the same way. I HATE cleaning rifles.......as Rob can attest to. <laughs>
  11. Welcome aboard my brother. If you liked the AR's before.....you're gonna love the bigger brother 7.62 platform.
  12. And that's why I'm here to watch you're back brother. Just say the word......and a drunken friend will show up.
  13. Pretty cool NTX. Please tell us that you have the SBR tax stamp. Otherwise, I'd get that thing disassembled pronto. Still cool lookin though. Oh....and sorry to hear that you're a lefty. <lmao>
  14. Being on a flat roof in high winds is no joke brother. You're lucky it didn't knock you over the edge. Glad you're safe, wingman.
  15. Dry and upper 40's here.
  16. Yeah......that's how it tends to happen. And then before you know it........those two will act like rabbits. And you'll have AR's popping up in various stages of assembly. An LPK here......a rail there.....some bolt carrier pieces laying around.....grips.....sights.......muzzle devices......barrels.......blocks......more receivers. It'll build on itself. <laughs>
  17. Here we go again. A shibi face palm is in order.
  18. YHM are some smart fukers ain't they? That's a pretty cool add-on.
  19. ^^^^ You and me both brother. That's why I used to joke around with the guys on my mechanical crew, "welcome to the black sheep squad". Because I would say what I think to all of the higher up "suits". Shocker.....the upper echelon didn't like me a whole lot. So, in turn, they didn't like my guys either. But.......none of us really cared what they thought. And I always took care of my guys to the best of my ability.
  20. As always. The question is......what led to the situation becoming this? Without knowing that.....we'll never know. That being said. As Jtallen said, a simple "yes sir....no sir" to the officer, and more than likely(as a law abiding individual)....you're on your way. But considering that he thought (the LEO) the situation deserved drawing his sidearm.......obviously....something was up. I'm all about our individual rights. Hell....I've been outspoken at time. But giving the responding cops, that are the boots on the ground, a bunch of $hit (pretending to be about constitutional rights) just because you got caught (probably doing something wrong....or just plain stupid, making a target of yourself)? Sorry. I'll side with the LEO every time. They've got enough $hit to deal with day to day, hour to hour at times. Yet another dumbass. Moral of the story? Don't do dumb, lame-ass $hit. And you don't end up dealing with the business end of an officer who's responding to a call. AND, who is probably almost just as nervous (in their own way) as the perp. Eeehhh. Just my opinion.
  21. Done. Sent your way my man.
  22. Welcome aboard Wolf.
  23. I agree. You can't go wrong with YHM. I've used multiple rails from them, plus some of their BUIS (the spring loaded ones are pretty nice)....but not the 45 offset (yet). Look forward to hearing your impression of them.
  24. ^^^^ <lmao>
