  1. I don't know why someone would make fun of this sickness. I mean......if you find a stray part......it almost cries out to have a complete rifle assembled around it. <laughs>
  2. About the same time that they've cashed my other ones in the past. Roughly, about a month after the forms are submitted. The "MAN" always makes sure that he gets his first.
  3. Break out the hammer. <laughs>
  4. It's part of a marketing scheme from the sunglasses industry.
  5. As the title says. That's what it took this time to get the tax stamps back for the 2 SBR's that I've been waiting to finish. It sounds bad, but I've waited longer for others in the past. And this time, I even had the ATF screw with me a couple times.......which made no sense. They bounced the paperwork back to me the first time about a month ago. Saying that I didn't check the correct box for registering as a trust (had it checked as an individual). Even though it was the exact same way that I had filed my previous form 1's. Then, 2 weeks later, they bounced it back again, saying that the OAL didn't meet the Maryland minimum requirement......which I had forgotten that the socialist in my state had lengthened it last October (the same time that the AR-15 new transfer ban went into place). My stupid ass had measured the build's with the stock's fully collapsed. Totally my fault on that one. Which, as crazy as it sounds, you measure them with the stock fully extended. Go figure huh? My problem with the ATF is......why didn't they say that when they bounced the forms back the first time? That's the kind of stuff that frustrates the hell out of you. And that's also one of the little ways that they screw with you and drag the whole process out a little longer. Anyway. Nuff said. Now I gotta box up the lowers and get them off to Orion for engraving. So, probably about another month, and these little bastards will finally be complete. I'll update, as usual, when anything changes.
  6. Ahh....negative. I don't do the whole ebay thing.
  7. I'm starting to get excited! I like it!. Good find Rob. But can it accept an Atlas Bipod? <lmao>
  8. How can you not laugh at Peter Sellers? I've probably seen that scene, oh, about a million times. And I still laugh as if it's the first time. Him and Kato (my little yellow friend).
  9. ^^^^ Yep. I agree. An even grand is about as cheap as you're gonna get when it comes to complete rifles.
  10. Pretty sweet.
  11. Welcome from MD
  12. That's funny. But it would have to be a lowfat tofu doughnut for Rob, the Dunkin brand "dunkin doughnut" (the type that used to have a handle baked into it) for Greg so he could use it as a crutch....and something that resembles a bagel for Larry. That way it looks like it used to be a doughnut.....but now it's old and crusty..........just like him. <lmao>
  13. Brings a tear to my eye hearing others pimp Armalite's. <laughs> Welcome aboard Roy. Pretty much, what Edge spelled out to you makes sense. I'd go that route.........................even if you ended up deciding to downgrade to a DPMS......or even worse.....one of those Rock River doo-hickey's. <lmao>
  14. Yep.....and you're right. It's a myth. <lmao>
  15. ^^^^ Yep. What he said. I'm not aware that there are any Armalite 80% lowers. It doesn't mean that I'm right.....just that I've never seen any. Like Robo said also. If it's a Factory Armalite upper, you'll be good to go. Good luck my man.

I'm with you brother. That's why I said one is a beating, and the other is an abusive beating. Nothing justifies that.
  17. ^^^^ Amen to that.
  18. I'm not sure......but once you bury your foot between somebody's balls.....it can't be taken back. <lmao>
  19. igofast might have just found an easy way to slide into this crowd. laughing
  20. Hey Moon. I haven't built it yet (it's on the list). But I've got a matched BRO upper/lower set that I've got zero complaints about. Fit and finish is second to none. Machining is top notch. And I'm the Armalite guy no less. <laughs>

I'm all for punishment of kids. But yes, a beating is one thing, but an abusive beating is another. I was spanked with belts and such. I think that I never got a beating that I didn't deserve (looking back). I spanked my boy the same way. But not out of an abusive mindset. I believe he says the exact same thing these days. Like Rene said.......none of us liked it while we were growing up. But it does teach us something.
  22. Yes maybe......but at least you'll get a happy ending.
  23. That blows brother. I don't even know what to say my man. Except, let me know if you EVER need anything from us guys. Technically, I guess Edge and I are the closest to you geographically.....in case you need somebody in person........to come slap you around, call you names and make fun of you and such. Me = >:D Greg = C:-) Just trying to keep it light hearted brother.
