  1. Now I sure hope that you're not gonna get in trouble for pulling photographic evidence of any perp's, that you did your patented flying tackle onto, just to put up on here. Besides....even if that was a younger Tom......there would still be at least a motorcycle (or two), even if in pieces, sitting in the picture.
  2. Yeah, I'm already getting used to it. It'll give me and Tom even more to "talk" (read as scheme) about.
  3. Just build it as if it was a DPMS patterned 308 and you'll be just fine. Plenty of parts to be found. Just keep looking for the decent deals. They pop up all the time. Oh, and welcome to the board sr and steele. Keep your eyes on some of these guys around here. They'll entice you to dump your retirement account just to build that next AR. <laughs>
  4. You gotta be creative in this world.
  5. Welcome aboard steele. I've got one of those BRO sets waiting to go together also. I like the way they look. At least mine seemed pretty well machined. Not in the biggest of hurries to push this build to the front of the line just yet though. I've got parts for other rifles (that don't include bipods) that I need to get ahold of first. Like sketch said though. Feel free to throw out any ideas that you have of parts you either have, or want to get. This crowd will help out in any way that we can...............in helping to empty your wallet that is.
  6. Oh great. You too?
  7. Ahhhh. Back when the white tiger stripe was the "in" thing. Whew.....thank god I was never part of the "in" crowd.
  8. OHHH........you son-of-a-bitch ya.............................
  9. Welcome from Maryland, Trevorklat.
  10. If that's the case. You can always buy an Elite Iron bipod that some other strange guys are trying to push on me. <laughs>
  11. All I've tried is subs out of mine so far (Rem 220's). I'm looking forward checking out some of the supersonic stuff. As soon as I can find some that is. 300 BLK around this area seems to be made out of that same material as that bipod you and DNP are trying to talk me into. Unobtanium. Can't find 300 anywhere local.
  12. What kind of rounds? Supersonic (I take it) or sub-sonic?
  13. Yeah, I guess that whole barrel thing would kinda get in the way. Unless he has a SERIOUS deep-well socket.
  14. Yep. I'd say that a socket is the way to go. That is, unless you have a pipe wrench that can do torque settings. <laughs>
  15. Those are some very cool pics.
  16. Any Matt or Robo pictures? <lmao>
  17. You've GOT to be kidding me! Tom........we'll talk.............and plan our scenario.......................................they'll never see us coming.
  18. Just stack them up like cordwood Tom. That's my overall plan. <lmao>
  19. 51T Brakeout + SDN-6 = works great on my 10" 300 BLK. You'll love it on that one.
  20. Aaahhhh......no.....negative.......nyet......eh-eh.....nope.....ain't gonna happen. I ain't bowing to peer pressure just for a bipod, badass as it may be, that (for the price) must be manufactured out of unobtanium. Or some other highly precious alloy. Atlas will do.................................for now. And I'm labeled as an enabler. Uh-huh........riiiiiiiight.
  21. Jesus. Talk about a ball buster. <laughs> Didn't I just say that the MRAD has an Atlas on it? Sheesh! And I wouldn't quite compare Harris to a KIA.
  22. Welcome bigbore.
  23. What do you think one of the Atlas bipods was for? And hey.....Harris stills makes a nice bipod.
  24. Must be a picture of Rob's patrol bike?
  25. DAMMIT! :thefinger: :rant2:
