i normally go trout fishing with a good friend of mine for the opener, but its been so rainy here IDK if we are going to beable to. the river that runs thru my area is expected to crest today or tomorrow and all the streams are well over full. the week after i normally go up north but there is still 12-18" of ice on the lakes and 12" of snow. this weather is got everything so messed up!?!
when does your season open any plans?
i agree with you there too! ive got a friend who hunts with a 300 win mag and an other with a 7MM and they are both meat destroying machinces. on the other hand i hunt with a guy that uses a 243 and that thing is a straight up deer wounder, can't tell you how many times we've tracked deer with little to no blood trail for hours. ive been hunting with a 30-06 for 10 years now (last was my first with the .308) but every deer i have hit in those 10 years has dropped dead in its tracks with in 20' of impact. clean in normally half dollar sized exit with little to no waste.
the getto bird will get you every time!!! actully i heard a story once from about a guy on a sport bike who had the cops chasing him for wheeling down the I. he was able to shake the cruisers but couldnt get away from the chopper so he went to the air port and was able to lose the chooper too. IDK how true it is but sounds reasonable, except the air port is normally crawling with LEO's of some sorts
thats fine i honestly think they make garbage ass ammo anyways, plus they sold out to NYS F them in the neck as that one guy says.
i ask if that comes with or with out KY
ive seen the sig version where i bought my 223/556 here in town, he also deals class III and silencers. ive also seen reviews of them on TV, not really my cup of tea i guess.
Bear are also fatty, very fatty. If that 223 round doesn't open up and punch a big hole he's not going down any time soon. When I go bear hunting my 223 won't even be a thought, my .308 or 30-06 will be weapon of choice.
I'm pretty sure you'll love it and your going to be surprised how easy it is to handle for its size/caliber I know I was and that's what my friends have told me after I've let the shoot it too
Ps my marinade recipe isin the grill'n tread its alot like teriyaki just add 1tbs for liquid smoke for dehydrater.
Also I've got a nesco dehydrater its plastic but I've done 100+ pounds of jerky in it
