  1. I like how they dropped all the drama and now just focused on the shooting part of the show a big improvement. I wish there was range around that would replicate the stuff that they do for us regular shooters that would be awesome. <thumbsup> Sort of like an amusement park for us shooters

Did manage to score a box of Fed. auto match .22 the other day from a friend that happened to be at Walmart right when they were stocking what they got in on the truck that day <thumbsup> Hopefully the end of tunnel comes up quick.
  6. Wow and after reading the comments below the story I can only believe that COL has gone completely libtard and are actually happy to see jobs leave the state. I mean after all why work when the GOV is going to take care of you. :binkybaby:
  7. And the answer is they didn't <laughs> <lmao>

  10. This is my current work in process It was an DPMS Oracle but its been through a few changes since I bought it new. Weaver kaspa 2.5x10 illuminated mil dot reticle with Burris mount. Geissele SSA trigger PRI adjustable gas block Apex hand guard and rails Magpul ACS light butt stock LMT ergo grip Blackhawk bi pod Things left to do. BA Battle comp. Tac Ops 1 charging handle heavy buffer and spring and latter on I plan on updating the glass.
  11. Are these reloads or factory ammo that the bolt won't close on? If its reloads you might not be setting the shoulder back far enough. I had a similar problem that I could not unload a live round without mortaring the rifle because I was jamming the shoulder. Do you have a case gauge if not you can try smoking the shoulder to see if your jamming it. Check this link the case on the left is just a smoked case, the middle is when the shoulder was jamming and the right is where my shoulder is set back enough to properly cycle the bolt without mortaring. http://forum.308ar.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=5157
  12. I figure I better update this thread with what I decided on so here is the final recipe for this load workup. 147gr pull downs Remington brass and nato brass Tula LR primers CFE 223 powder C.O.L. with Horndy comp. 2.10" powder charge: Rem brass 49.9 gr Nato brass 49.2 gr Med. to heavy crimp
  13. Now that is one sick car NoFail <thumbsup>
  14. I always made sure to get inside the neck even put cases in zip lock bag sprayed rolled a round then let dry still felt like I was going to stick a case, also tried using a loading block shook the can well and sprayed the hell out of the cases and let dry same results. Can this spray go bad <dontknow> oh well I figure I'll find somebody that reloads rifle and I'll just give them whats left in the can.
  15. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I started calling ONE SHOT to one stuck. I followed the instructions on the can and every time I feel like I,m going to stick a case in the die so instead of chancing fate I switched to Hornady,s Unique case lube and my sizing has been silky smooth and have never looked back.
  16. Makes the $100.00 at the gun show seem like a bargain
  17. I think we need universal back ground checks for all steak knifes and no transfers without a check and this will end the restaurant loop hole. <thumbsup>

  21. I've been to South Korea but it was in Pusan during a wes pac all I remember was a lot of cheap Nike's and the bars along with our crazy cab driver who would go into oncoming traffic to get us to the next club. Sometimes I wounder how I survived 2 deployments and Desert Storm with all the crazy stuff I used to do. I'll see if I can dig up some old photos and try to get them on the computer later.
  22. :laughing4:
  23. At the last gun show I went to me and a buddy of mine would laugh at the dealers or I guess I ought to say crooks and say how we won't even buy from them when this crap finally blows over and prices return to normal. It was nice to get them pissed off because of us calling them out on this crap in front of other customers.
  24. Thats the funniest thing I've seen in a while <laughs> <lmao>
  25. It was such a beautiful day today (except for the 25mph winds) I had to go to the range today and managed to do this. This was my 168gr load that I've been working on in the reloading section. The group measured just over an inch shot from 100 yards out. The way the range is designed the wind wasn't to much of a factor.
