  1. Looks like the indoctrination has started at West Point :o
  2. And this is how our Sheriff's in the great state of Missouri feel about this. 01/16/2013 Sheriff Heiss Sends Letter to Pres. Obama January 16, 2013 The Honorable Barak Obama President, United States of America The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue WashingtonD.C. 20500 Dear Mr. President, My name is Charles M. Heiss and I am the Sheriff of Johnson County, Missouri. I have held this office since January 1, 1997. I am writing to you to express my concern with the tone of your administration with respect to the Second Amendment Rights of American citizens. It appears to me and many Americans that there is a genuine desire on the part of your administration to restrict the Second Amendment rights of law abiding American citizens in the interest of curbing gun violence in our nation. Throughout our nations history the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights has served as the very foundation of our free society. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution has long guaranteed our citizens the right to keep and bear arms and is central to our ability to live in a free society. Any attempt to restrict these Second Amendment rights through executive order is unconstitutional and tantamount to an all out assault on the United States Constitution. Just as the Fourth Amendment to the constitution guarantees our citizens the right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable search and seizure, the Second Amendment guarantees each of us the right to keep and bear arms to protect ourselves from anyone who would seek to cause us harm. This includes the federal Government. World history has shown us that when a society does not possess the ability to defend itself it becomes ripe for victimization by criminals, and ripe for government oppression. One need not look too far in today’s world to see glaring examples of defenseless people being brutalized by rogue regimes and dictators. Syria, North Korea, and Mali are just a few examples of this type of oppression.Mexico is a stark reminder of a society overrun with criminal element in the form of Drug Cartels. As the duly elected Sheriff of Johnson County, Missouri, it is my sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitutions of theUnited States of America, and the State of Missouri against all enemies both foreign and domestic. This means I not only have the duty to protect my constituents from incidents of crime, but I also have a duty and responsibility to protect and preserve the individual rights and liberties afforded and guaranteed to every citizen by our constitutions. This, Mr. President is a duty I fully understand, appreciate, and will carry out with great vigor and conviction. I will most certainly urge my fellow Sheriffs in the State of Missouriand across this great nation to rise to the defense and aid of all Americans should the federal government attempt to enact any legislation, or executive order that impedes, erodes, or otherwise diminishes their constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I will use all means legal to meet this solemn and sacred responsibility. Respectfully, Charles M. Heiss Sheriff Johnson County,Missouri.
  3. Turn in your weapons and uncle Obama will give you a water buffalo and rice patty to poop in ;D
  4. I hope it doesn't hold over 10 rounds <laughs> <lmao>
  5. Well thanks for recalling that for me I totally forgot about the T section. The next time I get to the range I'm going to get some B27's and practice this area. Getting to used to center mass shooting.
  6. I've tried my best to convince some fellow hunters that its not about mag limits, that its about control and they look at me like I'm a nut for having 20 round mags. Nothing I say seems to fix stupid so I've given up on them there brain washed and part of the system now. I count them as no different than any other anti.
  7. Its spreading like a cancer we need to stop this somehow.
  8. My line of thinking is I don't see any hard cover except when they go out of camera view and then the wacko is right on top of her and there so close to each other what are the chances that the bad guy is going is going to get a shot off if she drops the hammer first? I mean there just so damd close to each other I'm thinking if any of them shoot there both dead. I'm not in law enforcement so I don't know what I would do to come out on top on this one.
  9. All I've got to say is WOW what a communist state that is :puke:
  10. Can somebody please explain why we do business with communist countries for? When the old Soviet Union was around you didn't see us sending them all are manufacturing jobs and equipment. <dontknow> :cookoo:
  11. I agree with you there brother because we all know were the media's kids are.
  12. That defiantly takes some serious kahunas to stand their with a gun pointed at you for that long. I would like to think I would of found some kind of cover and drop the hammer on that guy. But I can always do that sitting here in my chair not knowing the full layout and if people near by.
  13. The media been slamming both sides for using kids Obumer for using them as human shields and the NRA because Obumer's kids needs protection for who he is <dontknow> (still ain't figured that one out yet surely not a leader).
  14. Somebody still has their sea legs <lmao>
  15. This <thumbsup> I spend most of my time here. The help and friendship and professionalism here are second to none if I ever get the chance I would like meet with members here for some fun range time.
  16. After reading that lucky gunner report I'm worried about barrel life with the bi-metal since my barrel is not chromed lined but I'm wondering if their is an difference between the the M80 ball jackets and the Tula jackets. Give me a couple of days to mull it over and do some research and I'll PM you if I decide to sell.
  17. Glad you got your health back madhouse I remember when I had surgery for cancer I was off for 6 weeks and was driving me crazy so I ended up restoring a boat just couldn't sit around :cookoo:
  18. Well I'm back and like I thought just crazy :cookoo: even the local media came out like flies on stink. Showed up an hour before the doors opened and it didn't take long for line to stretch well beyond the doors. I went looking for mags as soon as I went in and found 2 vendors with 308 pmags 4 each. Asked how much $70.00-$75.00 a piece :o Well after seeing a guy buy 2 of them the frenzy got me and I bought 2 of the $70.00 ones :cookoo: but I'm good now I have a total of 5 full mags and one 6 rounder for hunting. I was surprised at how many vendors had AR style rifles today and they were selling didn't pay any attention to price because of the crowds and I was on a mission to get what I came for. I ended up getting an lmt ergo battle grip <thumbsup> and found some 147gr pull downs for $60.00 for 500 the only problem is when I got home I stuck a magnet on them and found them to be bi-metal >:( I'll probably go a head and load them up just won't buy any more I was hoping to have a nice plinking load but I'll have to find something else now. One thing I did notice was the lack of powder and primers today I glad I bought those the last time I went. The ammo dealer were busy as rush hour on the freeway it was basically a zoo today the only tables that weren't busy were the non firearms tables there were 1000 tables today.
  19. The last time I went a couple of vendors had the DPMS steel mags for $70.00 a piece. :o I had to finish my upgrades for my rifle so I couldn't buy any mags at the time. I have three 20 round and one 6 round mag so I'm not desperate but would like to score a couple of more. Plan on being early before they even open the doors to try to avoid the crazies. Half tempted to take my .308 and walk around with it to just see what kind of offers I get for it. Just to tell them NO DEAL but that would probably be mean ::)
  20. Well anybody wanting to place odds on me finding some .308 mags at the show tomorrow? <lmao> <laughs>
  21. I'm with you on this <thumbsup> If your life is on the line I don't think your going to be to worried about barrel life just your own.
  22. http://www.luckygunner.com/labs/brass-vs-steel-cased-ammo/ Found this test between Brass cased copper and lead projectiles vs. Steel cased and bi-metal projectiles. I'm in love with my barrel so its brass and copper for me whats your flavor?
  23. Now if we could get all the states to pass this kind of bill that would send a message to the Feds.
  24. Found this survey figured its just another way we can voice our concerns. https://www.nra.org/action-survey/default.aspx?
