  1. I wonder what's in that box, hmmm
  2. Awe shucks I just had to use that line from full metal jacket
  3. That is very good looking there, Wichita. Will you post your target pics later when you're dialed?
  4. Why not just shoot the fish too? Forget the pole
  5. Yup
  6. Yeah, she is quite the specimen alright. But if I had a choice I'd take the Thompson in the violin case. I know I can handle that, the girl she'll snap my neck somehow by accident.
  7. Shibiwan I said industrial robots.. It's what I do, did, looking to do again. What were you talking about? It didn't make sense to me.
  8. Sketch, yeah, well I checked out for awhile. Depression set in a little. Probably best that the firearms were out of site and mind in the safe, it didn't get that bad but still....
  9. Oh hell that sounds killer. Never made it all the way down to Glamis. Pismo was it. I had Blasters for the kids and my Banshee with Toomies and some cool billet alu., Paddle tires. Loved it but had to sell before I killed self.
  10. There are many like it but this one is mine
  11. That sounds pretty awesome right there. And I love it when I see Phase 5 Tactical ambi bolt catch on someone's list. That item is so damned cool. But for sure I really like your parts list so far. In Robo we trust.
  12. My wife is great too. She knows I spent over 4k on my entire set up including scopes, I have two for it for different missions. She is so awesome she bought me all new reloading equipment for Christmas. But yeah, I went high end on everything in the gun itself. It's probably my only one I do too. I will not sell it and if they try to take it it will be the last thing they ever try to take, until they send in the pro's I guess. Welcome aboard this great forum, tx.
  13. Oh yes ok. Me too, I can't right now either.
  14. EasyEJL a simple search will tell you, but I think the answer is yes. Edit: yes here you go http://www.uberti.com/army-conversion-navy-conversion-and-open-top-revolvers This is Uberti, I don't know about Pieta
  15. Bcg's, SI defense, shop the Rainier Arms site for what they offer lately, JP Enterprises is what I have but that should be planned carefully because it is light weight design, but good. There are so many bcg's. I would get a good reputable companies offerings and you should be just fine, don't go cheap on this item, bolt and carrier IMO.
  16. I didn't know this until recently. A pistol such as this one can be had with no registration required, at least the state of California. No 10 day waiting period and no red tape bs or anything because it is a black powder gun. Of course I always knew what these are and how they work but I didn't know that they don't fall under the laws which bind metallic cartridge firearms. http://m.berettausa.com/item.jsp?id=142350566&referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bing.com%2Fsearch%2F%3Fq%3D1858+army+uberti%26a%3Dresults%26MID%3D2500&productURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.berettausa.com%2Fproducts%2F1858-new-army-navy-revolver-a-uberti%2F Why would I want to have pistol that must be stuffed in the cylinders with a charge and ignited with percussion caps? I wasn't really interested but I do think they are pretty cool. But I did not know they make conversion cylinder kits which turn these revolvers into metallic cartridge firing revolvers. a 1858 army or Navy in .44 can be converted to fire .45 LC metallic cartridge. A .36 is converted to fire .38 special. The 1857 Walker .44 can be converted to fire .44 magnum metallics. I'm positive many of you were aware of this. For those of you who didn't, now you do. It can be kitted up for 8 or 900 I think. Pricey but there it is.
  17. Hi again, Brother Seasprite. Ya know what, I have not fired a shot in about 8 or 9 months. I have not loaded a cartridge in all that time. We had moved from the Fremont, Ca. home we rented because it was sold. Nowhere to go and I was laid off, we moved too Turlock, Ca. last late June. The rent is low here and it is a little closer to where my wife works. We were in the boonies here at first but that really sucked for May reasons so we just moved again a month ago. We are now in a great neighborhood right close to my daughters HS. We are very fond of our new location but I'm still not working and it sucks. I am having a hard time matching my experience to what the industry is over here, mainly feeding the world, as Turlock is in central California where food grows lusciously. I just got an excellent lead for a job doing the same thing as my previous job, involving industrial robots and custom automation solutions. Thing is it is back in Fremont which is 1 hour 45 min away. But if I win this job I will have to take it, I want too. Anyway I have N.I.B. Rcbs rock chucker single stage press kit and a brand new Thumbler's Tumbler for wet brass tumbling. Essentially I have everything I need and lots of components. The equipment I used before was not mine and it went back to its owner, my wife's brother. I thought it would be a great place to shoot here but not really any good close by range. Plenty of land but I have no friends with access. So all my babies remain in the safe. I have a great spot set up to mount the new press and all that but just have not been thinking about it. When I start posting in the reloading forum that should mean I'm playing again. Anyway this has gotten long but that's all it in a nutshell. See ya!
  18. May we never forget, rest in peace, soldier.
  19. I miss Pismo, or you go too Glamis?
  20. Brother Seasprite, I have not been around here at all for a long time. I'm glad this turned out well after you did the right thing and got it done in time, good job, brother. You are lucky, my one I guess kinda major surgery was done up my ass, yes my ass hole. I had a bad roids issue going on up in there. Something I let go until it became severe, bleeding and horrid pain. After the surgery I experienced the worst week of my life. Excruciating pain levels, I would have to give the pain a 10 on scale of 1-10. It was my fault because I put it off so long. I think the only thing that would have eased the pain is if I had pure uncut cocain to pump up there. Nothing they prescribed worked enough for the pain. I will never forget that pain. So I'm glad you jumped on it soon enough. Take care. Edit: oh I forgot about my avatar. As you should suspect, no that is not my ass in question. I wish I had one like that, to touch and hold and admire and what not, but those just don't seem to be in stock lately and I probably can't afford one anyhow, oh well...
  21. Awe, unforgiven, howdy!! Everyone is healthy. But I need to shoot, been over 6 months. I moved to some property but elect not to shoot high velocity stuff, surrounded enough by other human neighbors that I just don't wanna be rude.

    .45 Colt

Wow that's awesome. I have a Win 1894 lever gun in 45 Colt. I also have the same gun in.44 Rem Mag. I have H110 & LiL' Gun I use for the .44. I have tried the H110 for .45 Colt and I must say it is something pretty impressive. I have done magnum type loads for .45 Colt. I have confidence in the strength of the rifle and it does just fine. I was using 230 gn wad cutters with results like 1400 fps. It is more accurate than the .44
  23. I haven't been loading for awhile now, equipment I was using, well I moved away from it and had to give back to bro in law as it is his. Anyway how is the supply chain going lately?
  24. Just checking in, been awhile....
  25. Lets see what turns about with this war thing of his...
