A $&&%%*(&$#@@#$^&* TREE fell on my shop it looks like a hellfire missle went off inside so my first duty of 2015 id getting this thing off the shop then demo and total replacement FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK!

Obviously a joke and a dig at all the BS you can hang on a ar 15/10/ etc...... pretty funny and a good point just how much stuff does one need? all I need is sights/ ,glass copious amounts of ammo and a sweet functioning rifle.....everything else is icing on a cake you can have it and it is sweet or you can eat the cake without and it is still good....

this happened not far from my daughters place and she was shook by it I am going to have her read this post it is excellent....

I too hate berettas, fook them all each and every onego ahead and get a 10 or a 40 you can have them too yes the 1911 is antiquated it is heavy but!!!!! it is ergonomicly awesome all these plastic guns feel like a 2x2 in your hand so flame away but I am sticking to steel and wood and springs.

well on a serious note it is tough as hell to stay in what I call shape after 50 I used to run 20 to 45 miles a week when I was 60 I ran a 1/2 marathon in 2 hours then I got Sick I have A.I.H. (auto Immune Hepititas ) that in it's self is not a huge thing it is the meds I have to take that suck monkey balls.... (Immune supressors) so anyway I have been trying for 4 years to figure out a way to stay in shape and I am failing horribly.... I eat pretty good food so I am not gaining weight BUT I have lost alot of muscle. so what I am doing is rock walking along the river and walking with a back pack and some weight in it , running exhausts me now and that pisses me off I love running but my point is doing anything is better than doing nothing... Keep moving when you stop you are fubared.. eat healthy, cut the sugar and prossessed foods, eat lean meat and try if you can to stay away from beef and chicken unless it is organic to much steroids and antibiotics in commercial meat.... cardio is Life find a way to do it and do all you can... as a example when I was running my resting heart beat was 48 beats per min. now 4 years later it is 68 poop goes south in a hurry keep up on your health....

I find it all pretty funny as I do not give a rats A$$ what my guns look like , if they are cool looking , and all that BS, I care how they function that is priority number 1 with me yep I bought a DPMS off the rack and I changed the handgaurd, trigger, and muzzle brake /flashhider.. so lets look at those changes... handgaurd on original was a brick and felt like crap.. i chose a lighter apex , trigger i chose thanks to 98 was the giesslle ssa-e, and the muzzle brake is a AAC all my guns have them so all my supressors will fit on all my guns... the upper and lower is fine as is the barrel it will shoot better than I can shoot it the slideing stock is fine it works great, and all the other little parts like dust covers and pins etc are all fine i would have saved nothing building from scratch... because I paid for the whole gun what a upper and lower set and barrel would have cost me for x brand... I agree with the guy if you want to build some super cool rifle then do it from scrath but in the end function is all that really matters... IMO.

I would love to see what those bullets look like after they have hit the feed ramps.... they might shoot around corners then.

I like the barnes ammo in 168 TTSX BT bullet accurate and deadly a little spendy but then so is anything good...

either way in a bolt gun it will have to be way more than just a hunting rifle way way more 500 yards no problem but 800 you will need a very good barrel, scope probably 2 grand in that alone, another 3 in a trigger and alot of extra reloading gear to work up a pet load for said gun I thought we were talking hunting rifle here ......if you want to shoot long range build a single shot 7mm STW... or a 6mm 284

I would love to be there and blow stuff up but to get my gear there I have to drive and I would need 2 days going and 2 days back and that means leaving the kids and grandkids right after xmas and that my friends I would not survive ..... hope we can do this in the spring or next fall before hunting season if I come I am bringing smoked salmon ,and salmon for the grill... have fun.. be safe and Merry Christmas or whatever you celebrate
