Did you head space that bolt and barrel? a bit concerned about useing the forward assit on so many rounds ,if you just pop open the upper can you just place a round in the barrel and lightly push it in with your finger? if those were factory winchester loads something is not right....

Remember also these triggers are 100% lifetime warranty so I am going to abuse mine since my blackout is my new favorite toy and see how tough it is I may have to get another one soon since the wife is eyeing this one.....

And I own both the ssa-e and the elftman and I like the Elf trigger better they are both great but this new Elf trigger is the best trigger I have ever owned even better than my single set Kiplinger trigger....

Ok so I have saved and bought for two years I now have a 7.62 sdn-6 and a 2400-mod 8 (5.56 can) to my surprise i just found out the 5.56 can will mount on 308 now THIS IS NOT GOOD! the reverse is also true the SDN will mount on the 5.56 this is ok but it worries me that someone else may get them mixed up and Kaboom so any suggestions on how to avert this ? all my weapons have the 51 T rachet mount

yeah I am curious too also the elftman trigger runs on roller bearings and also has two setscrews in the bottom that set the trigger pins , they do not turn or budge period.....but hey i understand it is hard to try new stuff but this trigger is a piece of art..... try one sometime

I do not have one on my 308 yet but I am planning on it as soon as I can get the bucks saved up I have some military surplus from various years some as old as 30 years I will make some go boom and get back to you.... but I will bet 10.00 bucks it will pop them no problem....

Thanks and they also make a flat trigger model as well I shot probably 200 rounds through it this weekend and I am blown away with this trigger I had a good friend of mines son was home on leave he is a corpman with a marine sniper unit and he shot it and loved it he said "this triogger is scary no creep or travel at all I love it" so I think that is a pretty good enorsment as well......

I have a gissele ssa-e in my dpms and I just got a elftman drop in trigger for my 300 blackout after having it here at my home to run it through the paces I like the elf trigger better ... read my review of it in the triggers section page two of the have you seen this trigger thread it kicks A$$

Yeah and I believe the canyon shooters are shooting 378x338 not a standard 338 mag which shoots like a rainbow for trajectory...

Thst was cool and looked like a ton of fun......

Ok so what are we talking here 300 WM short or standard? and what does anyone need one for ? and 338 is like shooting a 4570 rainbow arc.... just curious not dissing anyone just can not believe anyone would need any magnum caliber if it offers no more round or better accuracy as a bolt gun of which there are very many awesome 1000 yard guns in bolts avalible... school me.....
