  9. sweet let me look in my piggy bank....
  10. well LOL I went heavier and it works like a charm with subs and surpressed, runs like a sewing machine i tried a carbine buffer but it did not work so I went right to a H3 and presto perfect 10 and 1/2 inch barrel pistol lenght gas tube and it throws the brass at 3.30 all in a neat pile... I am not experienced enough at building these it is my first one from the ground up but it works great...
  11. Try a heaveier buffer it may cure all your ills.....
  12. Great horse for the mountains he has seen it all.....
  13. Yep as you clear the porch send one home check saftey and point in a safe direction you never know where Mr. big buck will turn up but most times it is where you do not expect it.. be prepared...
  14. What Buffer are you using? try a H3 my 10 and 1/2 inch barrel pistol gas works great for both subs and high velocity rounds...
  15. Pictures or they don't exist..... :)
  16. Rut Roh.......
  17. awesome nice eatin for the winter.... congrats to you both..
  18. Ar platform rifles after every 250 rounds or less if using a can, bolt guns twice a year if they have been properly broke in , 1. Never ever clean your rifle from the muzzle always clean from the chamber.. cleaning from the muzzle is a good way to ruin a crown. 2. get all the copper out and keep it out, it is hard to do if you do not properly break in a new barrel but once done it is a dream to clean and accurate as hell....
  19. I am going to go shoot one in a few days at a class three dealers range will let you know how it feels...
  20. anyone have any dealings with them or have any imput? looks very interesting... http://elftmanntactical.com/
  21. speaking of aguila if you shoot their subsonic stuff do NOT shoot it in a pistol with a can gemtech and others are warning about baffle strikes it is to long a bullet to stabalize in a short pistol barrel it is fine in a rifle .... and no the brownells stuff is not aguila but man 59.00 bucks ...
  22. BUT!!!! it is Mexican stuff and they want 59.oo bucks a 500 round brick WTF?????? over what a rip off..
  23. Good luck and have a walk in cooler in mind for that meat need to hang that stuff for 5 days or so ... sic em Char
  24. Ok gents I will let my picture explain what real head splitting is all about.... be right back. these are the tools of the trade your rifle is for shooting, silly wabbits <thumbsup>
