Out of all the ones I own. The Wiley X hybrids are the oldest and have held up the best. PIGs are too new to make a solid judgement....they feel good and for now that is good enough. The real contender is the Mechanix 0.5. They are like bare skin condoms for your hand.

Robo nailed it. I currently alternate between the Mechanix 0.5 (black), PIG (OD Green), and old Wiley X Hybrid (Coyote). Those have emerged as my favorites. Outdoor Research makes some decent gloves, but I never put them in the rotation.

Salomon hands down. We are issued a version of these and the quest. These are light and comfortable and provide adequate support for CQB and light tactical operations. The quest is a little more supportive and robust. I have one of their cold weather series and they are quite toasty in a hide. I was a Danner guy for years. We switched to Oakleys, 5.11s and a tested a few others.....these are the only ones that have stuck. Pull the trigger on these....there is NO RISK.

I think the Match is made by Wilson or Criterion. Match is 410SS and there ain't too many people making .308 barrels out of 410SS. The Select is 416SS and it is well know that BHW makes them. I have owned both of these barrels and they both quality barrels. The accuracy of the two I owned were hardly distinguishable from each other with the appropriate ammo.
