  1. Like to see pics of the wood furniture. Thinking of that for my Armalite AR10 rifle.

    ?‍? You got that right!
  3. Pulled.my.old.AR 15 E2 out to do some shooting. It has a.cheap Firefield 1×6 ×40 mm with a mil dot recticle on it now. Ended up getting.in.the boonies and.staking out a target at 300 yards. I had 17 Hornady 75 gr HPBT with 23 gr RL15 I wanted to use up. I haven't shot over 200 yards in a long long time and it.showed. Need practice at longer distances.

Got given that plate for a wedding present. Great for racks of ribs and big fish filets. Using it 34 years and counting.

Fathers Day dinner. A St Louis style rack of ribs. Was good but the son called, work changed his schedule so he couldn't make it. Turned out to be providence. We got hit by torrential rains and floods that have cut us off from the outside world. He could'nt have made it!
  9. Come to my side yard, I get one comes down to the cliff about every other night according to the game cam. He is smart enough to leave our dogs alone. Keeps our rabbit population under control. That’s why I tolerate him. During the winter I see his tracks all the time. Picture from last year.
  10. Posted to give you Glock lovers some ideas.

    Sicario 2

Sicario was definitely badass. Just hope they don’t sacrifice story line for non stop action (as much as I like action) in number 2.
  12. They have a SOCOM for a decent price at a local fleet farm. Tempting, but no room or money right now. Guess be Happy with my loaded classic. Nice work on it Survival, any thoughts on a suppressor to help tame the muzzle blast?

    1911 CCW

The holster for my 3” barrel 1911, a DeSantis Thumbreak Paddle, is no longer offered. I like it because the when It is cocked and locked, with the safety on, the Thumbreak covered the area between the hammer nd the firing pin, a little extra security from an accidental discharge. Also it has an easily adjustable cant.My other 1911 holster for CCW is a simple Fobus Kydex paddlestyle. Cheap, but it fits my full size 1911, my Kimber Pro Carry II, and my 3” Barrel 1911 Officer Style. Again, an easily adjustable cant. It does mar the finish on the slide where it locks in and holds the pistol in the holster. Not a fan of inside the waistband holsters, I have one from Gould and Gooderich for a Sig, but don’t find it comfortable. I need to find a soft leather IWB for my Kimber like Matt is talking about.
  14. This group has a sense of humor by the way. What you want is the "Unicorn" of AR's. A rifle is like a boat, a series of compromises to make it do a number of things. A short light hunting rifle and a thousand yard paper puncher are at different ends of the spectrum. And I won't even bother with the SHTF scenario. Think two rifles each that can do one well or one that MAY be adequate at both.
  15. Nice! Only difference is he will hit what he aims at. Star Wars storm troopers never do.?
  16. I remember them both, the GNX and the GMC Typhoon. Badass is right.

Think you should call the section, “Matt’s Bar and Grill”-“We put the AR in BAR!”
  22. Tux that really sucks. Hope the claim goes through smooth. Matt burned up 40 rounds of the 175 and 40 rounds of the 168 FGMM today at the range. Nice groups from both AR10s at 185 yards. Need to find a 500 yard range.
  23. Trooper congrats! Don’t think of them as kids, think of them as gun porters for you when you get old. That's why Matt has so many, he has a frickin armory!
  24. Be lucky you didn’t run into anybody that looked like Burt Reynolds, Jon Voight or Especially, Ned Beatty

Preheat 700 F grill 3 minutes on first side, rotate 90 degrees for 2 more minutes for cross hatching, flip, 4 minutes on the other side, pull, rest for 8 minutes. Melt in your mouth medium rare.
