  1. End product: 205 - 168 gr SMK BTHP, 41.2 gr RL15, Winchester primers, M80 brass of 2 manufacturers. Crimped
  2. Caliber of the firearm? Fiirst thought would be Leupold VX-3i LRP $999
  3. The DPMS Oracle 308 AR is a good place to start. Not AR10- a 308AR. To get an AR10 you go to Armalite.
  4. Whoa! Man that sucks! It is good for people to know that too, but rough on you. Did you ever get it straightened out or did you send it on it's way?
  5. When a new proprietary system hits the market, there is always a shortage of well informed tech advice, so you guys are working through issues that are going to benefit later owners. Thanks for your input.
  6. PA 10 guys: Don't take it personal, we tease and rag on everybody. You should see what they call us Armalite owners.
  7. Going to be a sweet rifle for distance shooting!
  8. Look forward to a range report.
  9. Probably need to contact PSA for the answer. If you do, please post the answer so we know.
  10. Congrats Odie, that is good shooting for a new rifle. Glad it worked out for you. PSA is evidently learning from past mistakes. Herk, raise some hell with PSA and see if they will make it right.
  11. Of course it does. Even better if multiple times.

  13. Congratulations! With all the recent PA10 owners coming on board, our esteemed Moderator, Forum Guru, as well as many other titles, has established your own thread line under "Manufacturers" that is specific to PSA 308 rifles. Look for "Palmetto State Armory" Feel free to share your experiences, stories, problems, and helpful information specific to the PA10 using that thread. The more you learn and can share, the more you will help your fellow PA10 owners, and the rest of us who are not yet familiar with the platform. All rules of behavior still apply. Welcome.
  14. Glad I scored on that Federal GMM.
  15. BOFH: Nice looking rifle and GS's. Used to have one myself. Special dogs. Nice looking rifle, good luck with it and keep us up to date on how it performs. Count; do you mean your own reloads, or remanufactured purchased ammo? Both work but you get what you pay for in remanufactured ammo. Sometimes you get burned. It is user beware. As far as reloading yourself, there is a whole section of the forum I suggest you review. Semi Autos have their own set of criteria for reliable functioning and performance. Might want to go over to introductions and introduce yourself as well.
  16. Wishful thinking, man.
  17. Everytime I watch that video I laugh just as hard. As the first time I saw it. SRanger, that is a fine rifle just the way it is. If you want to ad something like a good optic, or red dot, I suggest reading the many threads under "Optics" That will give you a pretty substantial common sense knowledge base. Rifles, like cars and women, are compromises and trade offs. A rifle built for 1000 yard shots isn't going to be handy in CQB. Unless you are going to spend all your time shooting past 400 yards, I would suggest a 1-6 or 1-8 power scope with a lighted reticle. On 1 power it can double as a red dot type for fast target acquisition, yet still give you effective magnification for distance. Everything else you put on it is bells and whistles, mwhich may be useful, and fun, but won't really be necessary. The most important thing to do is to buy ammo enough that you can shoot your rifle until it is second nature to you.
  18. It does, but I called after getting the E-mail notice and they had them. 90 cents each. With the plastic core pin as well. I ordered 4 with $5 shipping.
  19. I believe Lee directions say to screw the die down until it touches the base of the shell holder, retract the shell holder arm, then turn the die 1/4 more turn and lock in place. Are you doing that extra 1/4 turn?
  20. While I don't have that particular rifle, For 100 to 150 yards that should not be a problem with that length barrel. You will lose some velocity, but not enough to affect anything at those ranges.
  21. Great price. Just overloaded right now. I lied I just went back and ordered!
  22. Put this in the wrong section so reposted here. For any one running an AR10 bolt. Armalite finally has these back in stock. https://armalite.com/shop/ar-10-extractor-spring-set/
