I may have screwed up the name because I searched and searched and couldn't find the mailer. It was a 4x12 scope Vortex scope that was on closeout, not a red dot. I was more interested in the Red Army 7.62x39.

Got a Cabelas clearance ad. A 640 round tin Red Army 7.62x39 $169.99. A Vortex Strike Fire II scope, reduced $80 to $119.95.

Won't be buying IMI products or from Midway, if this is the way they deal with things.

I have cooked and smoked wild hogs shot in Florida. It is mighty tasty stuff. Just have to be careful due to parasites. Next to bears, wild pigs are among the highest critters in number carrying trichinosis, which believe me, you don't want to get. Surgery gloves and particle masks when you clean them, and make sure all meat is cooked thoroughly. Sitting on a moose roast in my freezer I plan to cook next week.
