  1. That is a nice clean looking build. Interested to hear how tuning the muzzle break goes. Question: You noted you don't like the Luth adjustable stock that the original Armalite model comes with. A few years ago someone, I think it was Blue or Planeflyer, had got one and said the same thing. I am curious as to why. At a price and weight a lot less than a comparable Magpul, I was thinking of going that direction if I ever went for an adjustable stock for my AR 10's and 15's. Just curious why you don't like it. Could save myself some money and dissatisfaction maybe.
  2. Thinking along the same lines.
  3. Think it is Sister, unless I am mistaken
  4. Brother, you convinced me. We are never gonna drag race. That sounds like an awesome car. Too bad about the 427, always liked that engine. Might look around for one of the C6 convertibles that had the 427. A friend had one but he wanted a lot for it-only had 5300 miles on it! If I don't do that pretty much decided I am going to stay with my 2004 convertible, and maybe one day add an A and A Supercharging kit. Have to find someone around here who knows enough to install them.
  5. Bob, let me know what you come up with on the 175's. I have a pound of Varget I have to use up. I am set on my 168's with RL15, but have a bunch of 175 gr SMK BTHP's to load.
  6. I just don't have room for any more!
  7. My favorite line of his: "Man does not live by milk and cookies alone" After a hot blonde invites him in for milk and cookies.
  8. WASH, Zo6 with nitreous? About 600+ RHP? MORE IF YOU ARE TURBOED OR SUPERCHARGED? That is a lot more Badass then my stock convertible!
  9. Glad it worked out. You hate to hear someone is disappointed with their new rifle. It sounds like PSA is getting their act together on the 308's. Probably a tougher challenge then they anticipated when they started.
  10. Not unless you are in a big parking lot with nothing to hit. ?????
  11. I remember that. Another one that happened was a mother and cub showed up below a bow hunters tree stand. He coughed to make his presence known. The cub panics and goes up the tree crawling right over him! The mom comes up mad, he is poking her with his arrow, she bites him in the leg, the cub climbs back down over him and mom and cub run into the brush. The DNR decided not to track and euthanize her, as she was only protecting her cub.
  12. Way to go Hemi! Get up to visit hm anyway if you haven't been there. Alaska is cool. A fishing buddy of mine has a good story about a grizzly hunt with a 45-70 in the Aleutians.
  13. You get what you pay for. Tru Glo red dots are cheap Chinese stuff. Their night sights for specific handguns are ok, replaced my FNX sights with some Tru Glo Tritiums, work well. Don't mention them in the same breath as a Trijicon however. Be happy you got the Trijicon. Besides as a 2%er, what is a few extra dollars?
  14. Funny. I found one and picked it up in Superior. Will work on it tomorrow. I have been busy , between an organization I belong to, and shooting up a bunch of reloads with my son after playing "musical scopes" on three of my rifles, and splitting next winters firewood now that my shoulder is pretty much healed. I tried a bolt puller, from the local hardware store and it wouldn't budge. Thanks for the offer Bubba, appreciate it man.
  15. Warn you; they are addicting!
  16. In the mid 80's I believe
  17. Buddy of mine is getting delivery of a 2017 Grand Sport. And selling his 2014 Z51. Another friend has an original C4 ZR1 with the lotus engine and got a 2016 Z06 last year. Time for a new club, 308AR Vettes!
  18. Nice Z06 Bro! Why didn't you tell me you were one of the Fraternity!

    Grilling

Get the best one you can, otherwise it will jam up like a First Generation PSA10. (sorry PSA owners, I just had to use that). I have a cheap one and it works, but is starting to fall apart, and doesn't always cleanly cut. Speaking of cutting, Kamikoto knives of Japan has changed their marketing strategy. Their knives are in the $400 to $600 range, but now if you advance order them you can pick them up in the $125 to $200 range. I have one coming July 1, I will give a report on it.
  20. It is. Really it is a bit of a game changer.
  21. I may be having a fire sale on some of my older scopes if this works as planned.
  22. I see this as blending the best of a red dot and a traditional scope. Leave it on one with the lighted reticle for fast acquisition and kick it up to 6 or 8 for distance work.
  23. My Primary Arms 1X6 2nd generation just arrived today. The reticle is indeed awesome! Can't wait to shoot it, but rethinking what rifle to mount it on.
