If it is staying in that position, put a game cam behind it. You will have predators using those bushes for concealment as they try to figure how to gain entrance. It usually takes them a while to figure it out so the camera should give you some warning.

I was one had a bit of a problem. I had a defunct EMail address listed and had always logged in with my Forum name. With Shepp’s and Drew’s help we got it resolved. Thanks guys.

14 inches of snow today, blizzard warnings. Broke the old snowfall record by 2 feet and counting. Frigging April 17!

That’s not nice! That is just cruel. Nice stash by the way.

Forecast is for 10 more inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. WTF?

A copied story about Merle Haggard and Toby Keith. Merle's final show. Well worth reading. It was Super Bowl weekend. Merle had already cancelled months of shows, but this particular booking was a big payday. Merle had to pay his band and crew, so there was no calling in sick for this gig. Toby Keith was in town with his wife to watch some football and have some fun. Toby got word that Merle was in Vegas, so he went to see him… Merle was in bad shape. He needed to be in a hospital - not on a stage; but The Show Must Go On. Merle would not take charity from anyone, but he did turn to Toby and say, "How many songs of mine do you know?" "All of 'em" answered T. "All of 'em?" "Yep. And I won't need a teleprompter." "Well, stay nearby." After four or five songs, Merle's infected lungs were spent. He couldn't draw enough air to sing any longer. "We've, uh, we've got a special guest here tonight…" Toby came out and sang the rest of the show. Merle gave his last concert. The Strangers got paid. And the audience, while not realizing it at the time, saw something special. Never speak ill of Toby Keith to me; thanks to him, Merle Haggard exited the stage with his dignity intact. My Pyr just mixed it up with a flock of wild turkeys. She is okay, fortunately. They are tough customers, even wolves leave them alone. They attack the eyes of adversaries. Pyrs just don’t have much fear, do they?

Nice hog brother. Prayers your Mom gets better. Glad you enjoyed your self a bit.

Always unplug mine. Air Fryers are notorious for reacting to power surges by turning on. Been a number of fires due to that.

This video shows you what manufacturers DO NOT KNOW...
Sisco replied to 98Z5V's topic in Building a .308AR
I have never built a 308 AR, probably because I started with an Armalite AR 10, which as 98Z says works like it should out of the box, and in answer to JT303’s comment, it has been done by Armalite. Armalite since Surgeon has taken them over has practically disappeared as a company, but their rifles work, and do what they are supposed to do. -

Well played Shepp!

Have to find the pictures or wait until I am near the rigs, but a few years ago I took a Molle equipment belt, added a large Molle gear holster for my FNX 45, and four Condor M14 magazine pouches, a first aid kit, along with a scabbard for my Cold Steel Outdoorsman. I sewed on four heavy D rings on to the belt, and attached a set of padded shoulder straps to help distribute the weight more evenly. All in FDE. It works for me. Also made one for my son once we proved it works. Adding chest rig pouches to it would be pretty easy, as the shoulder harness already has Molle attachments. Haven’t done it yet, so I don’t know how weight distribution would be. I will try to post some pics next week.
