I'm finally all done after getting the lower over 2 years ago and buying like a madman over the last few months. Just needs the gas tube rollpin put in and comp timed.

I have a NIB black LaRue R.A.T. Stock for sale. Asking $40.00 OBO strictly going off of their current sale to undercut. Thank you

Judgmental....nah. You hit it right on the head. I think my favorite part is her crazy eyes and the homemade pasta monster she made. She's embraced the term bat-poop crazy.

Honorable mention for that one. Reads like a punchline.

I came across this near unbelievable official news report from my home state (God help us all). It's so odd, I'll let the video speak for itself. http://www.wcvb.com/news/mass-woman-can-wear-spaghetti-strainer-in-license-photo/36432608 http://abc13.com/religion/woman-wears-colander-for-drivers-license-photo/1086189/ *two links just in case. May peace be with all you "Pastafarians" out there. Here's a challenge: Go ahead and one up each other with local stories.

I use to have simple tastes with a standard birdcage but picking a comp is worse than being the fat guy at a buffet. You just want it all. Deciding on a new comp for my Seekins AR15 build has been one of the two hardest choices to settle on for it. I've narrowed it down to the Seekins Precision ATC comp, Rainier Arms Mini Comp, Lantac Dragon, Supercomp Tactical Talon, and Supercomp NT. The problem is I didn't want to add too much length but might as well also get the benefits of a comp in the first place. Most of the comps that have grabbed my attention are typically 2.5-3 inches. The Rainier Mini is interesting because it's short length but good effectiveness. Apparently it creates quite the little fireball and is loud as it gets. I bought the Seekins ATC because it has beautiful machining and decent results in tests plus it just fits the look of what I have. It's kinda the sexy b!tch of my selections. A bit of a "trophy wife"...expensive and pretty but not necessarily the best out there. I also like what the Supercomps offer. Anyone get a lot of time with one yet? The Seekins ATC is in the mail but I want a second comp and haven't settled yet.

HAHA...unfortunately that fellow enabler Greg just notified me to a LaRue barrel sale. He knows I've been waiting for this for some time so after a brief friendly d!ckhead slam for making me spend more money, I ordered one. No extra sights I don't need for right now at least. The good news is my precious is about to get a 16 inch LaRue Stealth barrel and they tossed in a trigger, stock, and grip. Not too shabby.

Price reduced to $125 if that helps guys. For that price, now I'm going to end up buying them soon and get slapped by my wife. *I secretly like it.

I have no idea what you are talking about. My name is Gary and I'm a construction worker from New Jersey lol.

Tempting and a great gun but l'm only considering an older glock because its potentially a great deal and I'm working on 9mm build that takes those mags.

I have the opportunity to purchase a gen2 Glock 17 with 5 mags. It was originally purchased in 1999. I did a little research on the frame and am fairly certain it's a gen2. I think the gen3 version came out around 1998 or so. I was going to pick up a gen4 next year in the spring so that's my only hesitation. Any gen2 owners that think it's worth it to pick one up and what would you consider a good deal for it that would make you walk away happy? I know this all depends on current demand in a particular area and condition. Let's just say it's in pretty good to excellent condition with around 500 to 1k rounds through it. A few I've talked to seem to think it's probably worth $350-$400 with 2 mags.

Thanks, everything is going well. Hopefully all is well on your end too. Basement cleaning is helping find new little add-ons I forgot I bought last year. I just have to keep it as simple as possible before it begins looking like a Christmas tree. I'm nearly sold on one of these two scopes, one being much much easier on the wallet: http://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold-vx-r-patrol-illuminated-riflescope-1-25-4x20mm.html http://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold-mark-6-1-6x20mm-illuminated-reticle-rifle-scope.html *Unless there is a massive sale, I might have to settle for the cheaper one for the time being until I get the 10 other guns I want.

I'm selling these sights, link included below, for a good friend and coworker who purchased them for a rifle several months ago but ended up buying an AR15 last week with sights included. They have never been used and are in NIB type condition (minus the box ;). I'm asking $150 OBO. If you find them a bit cheaper from any online retailer please PM me, include the link, and I'll do my best to give you a better deal and S&H will be included. Thanks. https://troyind.com/products/medium-sight-set-m4-front-and-dioptic-rear-blk

I want a quick loss to a division opponent because 16-0 is overrated (as their 18-1 record showed in '07) and then I want the Pats to CRUSH everyone and Brady grab the MVP to show how absolutely ridiculous that whole PSI thing really was.

Thanks, I loved the beefier look too. It definitely wasn't to reduce the recoil. I'm a big fan of the friction lock and overall look of the CTR stocks. I might have to change the Magpul PROs to my AR308 due to there being no room to move the rear sight. It's rather long when folded and the billet upper locks it into a single spot. Fortunately, I don't see the charging handle clearance being an issue. I'm a righty anyways even though its ambi. I doubt I'll have problems zeroing it even with this problem. The handguard will either be the Seekins 12 inch or 15 inch which depends on the length of the flash hider or comp I go with. I wish they had a 14.

Thank you, now to just wait to see which goes on sale first...a Noveske Afghan 14.5 or LaRue Stealth 14.5 barrel. Those two are still the front runners. My decision is not set in stone but I like what they offer for the price without going completely custom.

All I can say is this lower receiver is an absolute pain in the F-ing @ss to complete. The billet design allowed Seekins to over-engineer this puppy beyond belief. Every time I thought I'd be able to complete something easily, BAM, it made me feel like I was all thumbs. My main issues came with the rear take-down pin and trigger install. There are these bizarre tiny allen wrench (.50) screws all over the place. I remember my Mega Arms and other standard lowers going much smoother. Let's just say, these little screws prevented fast installs for those two parts that are usually completed rather quick. In the end, it's all good because this AR15 looks insanely beautiful. I absolutely love it so far. Kudos to Magpul with their 45 PRO offsets too. They seem to be better constructed than I originally would have given them credit for. I'm not as much of a fan of Seekins matching ambi safety selector. It's longer than a standard one but my thumb easily slips over it. It's nice but doesn't compare to Battle Arms BADASS selectors. Now I just have to buy the barrel, buffer assembly, brake, and handguard.

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

Geissele SSA-E trigger from Primary Arms with that nice 20% sale. -
I've been keeping an eye on QC10 for a few weeks and the 15% sale that they have posted on and off is making it hard to turn down. They seem to be growing a lot from the remains of DDLES. The customer service has been reported as pretty good. They are also very active on social media. I'm just waiting for more of their parts to be released. I'm still up in the air about 45, 9mm, or 10mm.

Magpul Pro Offset Sights from Botach. -
I've been eyeing this little guy. The price makes it very competitive to certain Aimpoints. It's toward the top of my list now. I've been looking at the Aimpoint Pro, T1, and T2 for this Spring (obviously the Pro being the cheapest) but might go with this in the end at that price point.

I'm finally in the market for a Geissele SSA-E trigger. My wallet has some extra quarters in it. If anyone sees any Labor Day (or other) sales for one and Noveske or LaRue barrels that I might miss, please mention. Thank you.

I remember him being an important member here and hope friends and family keep his memory alive and well. RIP.
