I'm going to use this as ammo later lol

I would never put money on either game but the Seahawks/49ers is a toss up and Denver has a big edge playing at home but I still think they will choke.

Well I went 2-0 for my Sunday games. I'm going to have to go with ones I don't feel as confident with for the next round...I'll take Seahawks over the 49ers in a low scoring game and the Pats over the Broncos in a shootout. I don't see my Pats being able to win vs the Seahawks (or 49ers) in the big game but I've learned to never underestimate what they can do, regardless of injuries. Manning will likely vomit all over himself at some point soon...too many oreos. Any predictions? Am I crazy lol.

http://www.ijreview.com/2014/01/107873-cnn-died-nothing-navy-seal-lone-survivor-confronts-jake-tapper-senseless-deaths-comment/ Great little video of an interviewer being put in his place regarding the movie
  6. I came across this website on FB and thought some of their products, particularly a few of the rail covers, seemed like they might appeal to some of our members. I plan on making a purchase maybe next month but can't comment on their actual service or quality. http://shop.customgunrails.com/Laser-Engraved-Aluminum-LEA_c86.htm
  7. well stated and very true.

I buy very few movies (even though it is actually a series) and the BoB was one that I ran out and got right away. I'd call it amazing and Pacific didn't hold a candle to it. That's not to say that Pacific wasn't a really good and important series as well. BoB was just amazing.

A friend highly recommended it after watching it. I'm not a fan of Wahlberg but I think it would be insulting to think of the movie as being about him or the main reason why I would snub it...it's about those the movie represents, however true to life certain elements of it are. The trailers that I've seen are definitely appealing and make me want to go give it a chance though. I was a little disappointed with Zero Dark Thirty so I'd love to see a good movie.
  10. I'll no longer ever have to worry about squirrels on my property again <lmao>
  11. <thumbsup> Great job guys. A ton of interesting information.
  12. This is absolutely true, we are trained to be information sponges and that can also be used against each and every one of us if we are involved in a justifiable on-duty shooting. Even LE shouldn't talk right away or put pen to paper right after an incident. The department union rep and department lawyer should be the first people that are spoken to after an incident. An example of a inaccurate recollection can be seen and obtained easily after an incident due to the amount of adrenaline that is released and people also reacting differently in moments of high stress. ..."3 shots were fired" when 6 were actually discharged...anything can be potentially used against you. However, people shouldn't be afraid to talk to LE in certain instances, let's not take the topic to an extreme nature.
  13. I wasn't new to firearms when I took a look at this site but just new to building ARs. I still will refer to other sites for certain categories here and there, as I'm sure many do, but by and large I enjoy this website the most. It's not even close. We may have the occasional "healthy" discussion but this is the friendliest and most informed bunch of like-minded people on any (firearms related) site I've been to. I'm very happy that those responsible made the leap and have invested so much of their time in its creation and maintenance. I hope that many more of us are able to meet at a range sooner rather than later.
  14. The products were sold today. Thank you.
  15. Ya definitely post some pics when you get around to it. I'd love to take a look at what he does. The funny thing is how much you learn about parts when you start building and that will often make you a snob for buying many whole rifles. I pick apart most that I see now and there are only a few that I'd still invest in...I'd just rather build my own. A buddy just had a scar delivered so I'm looking forward to shooting something a little different when I can get to the range with his new toy.
  16. Thanks guys, a lot of good advise. The PS90 is definitely a niche firearm, it seems... I've never even fired a bullpup so I am curious about a few of the options that are available for that platform. I've heard a mixture of good and bad from most. I think a large portion of the negatives come from people that are enamored with AR-15s but for good reason :) I've been eyeballing the TAR but have only read an article here and there on it. I'd like at least one bullpup for the collection
  17. A buddy recently brought a good deal to my attention that I might take in the Spring. What are your opinions on the FN PS90? I would be able to get it for a hair over 1k and at least 250 rounds at about .50 cents per when it's all said and done. This is not a bad deal from what I understand about the weapon. I'd love to hear from those that have any time with one on a range. However, it's still over a grand and I don't want to blow money just because I'll be able to get it at a good price when I have at least two more builds on the horizon. Thank you
  18. Very true brother...I have spoken to old friends that still serve and they and their fellow soldiers have needed to pick up a AK and put it to good use, on the rare occasion. I understand some of the contempt that I'm sure many have but it was and still is a brilliant weapon. Like many, it now usually depends on who is making it though since there is a lot of garbage out there.
  19. I did the same thing. It looked a little more comfortable and a bit meaner.
  20. I have a Magpul CTR and a few small items that will help complete builds just arrive. I'm thoroughly impressed with the CTR. What a solid well built product!
  21. What a waste. My son will get a 4 cylinder sedan when he starts driving. He'll be lucky if its newer then 10 years old.
  22. Good experience always counts for a lot Terry, thanks. On a side note...I've seen so many crashes in my profession that I've lost track and the Ford PUs always seem to take a front-end hit better than a Chevy...hands down. However, I do like the look of the Sierra and the brand new Silverado is pretty sharp too. In the end, I'd have to go with Ford when I buy a PU in another 2 years.
  23. That is most definitely a classic thing of beauty.
  24. I cant believe I just said that...only word that came to mind lol
  25. She has extra donk in that badonkadonk
