I'm posting this to see if there is any interest because I'd like to change out uppers and would love to recoop some money. I'm selling a Mega Maten upper receiver and Troy TRX Battlerail in 13.8 length. These items are being sold together and I wont entertain any offers for the complete rifle or complete upper...sorry. I have put under 500 rounds down range with the complete AR308 and rest assured it has been babied. Nearly earning the place as a family member. The Troy rail retails for approximately $220 and the Mega receiver retails for about $320. The two were purchased less then a year ago and the rail is the correct flush profile for the receiver. Together that is a total of $540 but of course they are not NIB so I'll entertain any offer of $400 or best offer. I took all pics with my phone so hopefully they're good enough. Feel free to ask for any more information. I included pics of the whole upper and whole AR to give any future buyer a better idea of what the finished product looks like. Of course if you find better selling prices of the two items, I'll entertain a new price if you can provide vendor info/site. This would be adjusted to give an equivalently fair price should you find a "great" deal somewhere else.

I had elk only once, when I lived in CO, and loved it. Hopefully I can get out there and bag one for myself someday soon.

^ I think its hard to tell who the winner will be...NY, CA, and MA not far behind but we've been able to beat back some recent bad legislation. I thought CA was always at the top but NY and a few others have really outdone themselves. Fulton Armory only lists instock items as far as I know. In order...Joeboboutiftters gets things in quick judging from emails I've received so it doesnt hurt to sign up for what you need. It doesnt cost anything for email notification after all. I would then say DSG and Rainier in that sequence. Although, you might wait months for somethings, if not longer, and others will have you surprised at the speed they come in. I stopped signing up for many DSG things because my wife could possibly shoot laser beams out of her eyes at me if I bought everything I wanted from them. Thats the problem with a build obsession....you keep seeing things you want.

Jonas, get on email notification lists. JoebobOutfitters, Rainier Arms, and DSG ARMS are three of the best and have good prices. Fulton Armory is also a really good website. I'm unable to add any CA insight, sorry...we have our hands full here with large masses of liberal tumors.

I'm a Mega guy and have a very positive opinion of my MATEN build that I began at the start of the year. I probably have about 500 rounds down range out of it. They are TOP quality products and the billet design only further separates it from more basic designs still utilized today....not that basic is bad. You may believe you only want one build but I'd get two stripped lowers considering your state's legislation is being expanded to limit or further constrict your rights.

I don't know what's more attractive...the boobs, the gun, or the Turkey.

The Dolphin's personnel issue is insanely over publicized. Incognito is obviously a POS but, like has been said, Martin is an overgrown puss. Talk about not dealing with one's problems and running for the hills. It's a pro locker room, suck it up and handle it.

It's unfortunate because they're one of those franchises that I respect because they typically maintain the same mentality as coaches and quarterbacks come and go. I doubt the Pats are going to go far in the postseason though. They have lost way too many core defensive players for the year due to injuries. It will likely end with the high flying offense being cut off at the knees by a good defense.

Poor Steelers fell hard this week. Hopefully the Pats can break the three championship tie with the Red Sox.

I have often thought why I even get into them myself. I hated SOA for the first few episodes but it turned into a great show. Breaking Bad was just a really good show from the start. We don't have a big meth problem here (yet) so I also enjoyed it from that respect...I say that completely from the entertainment aspect not educational.

We had a Hells Angels clubhouse open up 5 minutes from an old apartment I lived in in my early 20's...interesting changes they made to the exterior. Privacy barbwire fences and security cameras were a nice touch.

Nah, they were never able to pick up the pieces when the Pats upset them in the Superbowl. Tough luck with the QB though, that sucks.

Thanks for the advice guys...lots of good tips. I have a family member that has gone a few times and would lend me his shotgun, which might be the best and cheapest route to make sure I enjoy it and want to pick it up on my own.
