    Welcome from AZ!
  2. Just got home. Much fun was had by all. It was a great 300 blackout shoot. :D
  3. Yep, same dude. Manager at a Nissan dealership and gets me great deals on Nissans. LOL Zonked out a few minutes after that last post. hehe. OK Meet you guys at wally world then.
  4. U no call me? I can only leave around 7:30 ... meet you guys at the walmart in Maricopa.... probably be there around 8-8:15. Anyone else welcome? May drag my neighbor along.
  5. Sounds like shooting weather. Stuck at the shop right now trying to do catch-up on paying jobs but I'll try to make it out tomorrow. Time? Place? (ok I saw that walmart bit) Mike, TXT me when you get a chance.
  6. SWEET! That's a great GF. :)
  7. Hmm... 11 in stock at RSR. Tom, you should buy it all up.
  8. We're a CDNN Preferred Dealer. If you AZ/Phoenix area boys wanna order it from there, I'll be happy to do the transfers for you. ;D
  9. I designed the magwells to be drilled + milled and because of that it has extra material here and there. I figure it would make it one less operation and simpler to set up and more idiot proof from the manufacturing standpoint. Right now I'm working on jigging it up onto a rotary indexer/4th axis for the rest of the ops (i.e. top, front, rear, bottom, and the wierd angles for the pistol grip hole and the buffer retainer hole. Send me that Agie. I could use a wire EDM in the shop. Hmmm..... you've peaked my interest. :D Does your buddy do broaching?
  10. Stalled until I can sort out the other operations....
  11. Nothing too crazy for now. Trying to be taken seriously first before we do the fun stuff. I'm battling my indexer right now trying to get it set up correctly before doing the remaining ops to finish the receiver.... then there's also the other jobs starting to pile up. BTW, those lowers look like they're meant for the ADHD generation, and belong somewhere in a CoD game. <lmao>
  12. Perhaps not this sunday... got to do more stuff with the kids.
  13. I've tried the new gen 3 (308) on my CMMG and have no issues. I just got some of the 25 round gen 3 mags ast week but have yet to try them out.
  14. Bah... working too much. I need to get out and shoot. [edit] OOH!! almost forgot... I now have a broken phone that is shoot worthy. :D
  15. ...there were some rumors about some wife swapping thing going on at Anthem so if you're into that kind of thing..... <lmao> East Mesa is fine. Downtown Mesa...uh no.
  16. White Hat Holsters I usually carry it in the small of my back (hence it's LH) but here it is on the side...
  17. It's a dry heat! <laughs> We love it here. I stay away from the west side of Phoenix. The East Valley is where it's at. :D
  18. y'all been watching too much District 9 & Inception.
  19. Looks like Tom's lost it and moving from AZ to Alaska... or Siberia. <laughs> (My wife would have killed me for doing that in the oven).
  20. How about the real stuff! Oh, here's the classic taliban sniper training video: ...and RPG training or mortar training ...and physical training IED training.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YiumoIw2lg Suicide belt fail.
  21. ...lol wonder if it didn't happen. <laughs>
  22. I expect an FDE being a requirement!
  23. That's a nice gantry style CNC router. You oughtta be making some guitar bodies. :D I have 2 mills and one lathe, been doing this since 2001. I do the design work (solidworks) then transfer to CAM (gibbscam) which generates the G-code/toolpaths, I go back in edit, fine tune, etc. Started out with a Fanuc Robodrill in my garage, making performance parts for ricemobiles, then got a CNC lathe, then now a 2nd pallet changer mill with the whole operation at my shop. Two engineering degrees, one CS degree, and a MS in manufacturing engineering..... been in school far too long. <laughs> Not a single HAAS. :D :D The HAAS is OK but I personally prefer Fanuc controls (Siemens if I can afford it). Seen too many QC and control issues with HAAS machines while in school so I stay away from those. The Chinese (and also the lack of any enforcement of trade/copyright laws by the federal government) have f*cked the automotive industry so it's been a scramble to grow sideways into different markets, including firearms. Gotta pay the bills somehow.
  24. ooooo need to order some of that shiiiiii....
