  1. That's another can of worms... bah.

    Anybody..

Cool... just looked at the Hornady book and it does list 47.2 as max for the 168gr. I've reloaded some CFE223 + SMK175 but don't recall using as much powder.
  3. ^^^ THIS! It's a great gun that few know about. Most end up buying the P250 (with the sucky DAO trigger pull) and completely miss the SP2022. My 2022 is a 9mm - cheap ammo, and easy to find when SHTF, reliable, accurate and tough. Great DA/SA trigger, great price. Can't ask for anything more in a Sig. Perfect for a beater handgun.
  4. haha... looks like the trade is off. :D

    Anybody..

Um... really 47.2 gr? I don't care what kind of powder you're using but that load seems excessive by 4-5 grains past the max loads....
  6. We all share the same weakness my friend.
  7. I'm sure our guys here will step up if we see poop like this go down here on 308AR
  8. Just be glad she was a blond and not a redhead.... I understand those cost you more.
  9. How much did she go for?
  10. I gotta admit I'm not much of a shotgun guy and I know almost jack sh*t about them, so I'm apprehensive about trading. On a related note, someone local is offering a trade for my three-day-old MK25.... trade for a P220 elite dark....
  11. Naming them means forming an attachment to them, hence no names. Offer me the right price and for anything I own and it is for sale.
  12. Just busting your chops. The Mec-Gar +2 mags for the SP2022 suck donkey balls. Doesn't fit correctly and pinches pinkys, and most importantly, look like ass. Well it could have been standard issue if he was working for the police... er the French Police, or the US Army TACOM. The thing to do is modify Ruger P95 30-rounders and then you have one of the most reliable 30-round handguns around. (on a side note, there's a full FDE SP2022 in the LGS marked at $460 and it was definitely calling my name).
  13. There were in stock at the Sportsman's in Mesa.... I said "were". :D :D :D
  14. I know the 226 is nice, but if a push comes to a shove, I'm sure the SP2022 will be just as reliable. That thing eats up everything I've thrown at it thus far.
  15. Nice!!
  16. .....and what's wrong with an SP2022? >:D >:D >:D
  17. Those are all over the place. There used to be one like that here in the Phoenix area. Best place for fresh seafood. Thanks - it's a great place to visit, but take it from me, it sucks to live there, especially if you like open spaces.

    Anybody..

Can I join the club? Having a bad day myself. Thankfully 308AR cheers me up.
  19. PLEASE ENJOY HAPPY ENDING! LOL!!! Only thing I miss is the food. Last time I was "home", some trannies tried to approach me & my wife. Freaked her out then but we laugh about it whenever it comes up these days. <lmao> Home, for me, has become and will always remain AZ!
  20. The tumbling style usually takes a longer time in my experience with metal parts that I make. The tumblers are really meant for rock tumbling. Fastest ones are the vibratory ones, and you set them up with a thru-flow cleaner fluid (water+laundry detergent) to drip it in from the top and flow out from the bottom. Should be the same with our brass but the small shot and pins would find their way out the outlet (about 1/4" hole) and into the collection bucket. Never tumbled anything with SS shot until now. I'm actually considering using that as a secondary process after initial ceramic tumbling to buff out my crap. If I bumped up the amount of Lemmi-Shine in the cleaner, the process starts almost immediately and within 20-30 mins the cases are all shiny.
  21. This guy you speak of makes his own +2 mag bases?
  22. Being the idiot I am, I just came to the realization that the $40 I spent on the Troy PGRSA is now a writeoff since it can't be used with the Magpul UBR.... or can it? Guess if it don't work, I'll just move that to the beater.
  23. That's cool! Can Siri do "sattelites overhead"
  24. Here are some additional notes since doing it several times with improving results: Additional Notes: - 5.56/300 blk brass seem to catch the mixed SS shot in the primer hole. Gotta poke them out with a decapping pin or one of those Lee case length gauges. - Speed to obtain shine is proportional to amount of lemmi shine used. I put in about 1 tsp. More if you don't want to wait. Too much and it stings my skin - 5.56 brass can fill up with the mixed shot and they get stuck. To remove with minimal hassle, use an impact-type bullet puller.
