  1. Diamond Gusset Jeans, they're great for Ball Room dancing.
  2. Me too. Yesterday was a good day.
  3. Today we remember all those who served and haven't returned. I miss you folks. I address a friend here and now, Fox, Charles T. "Hey Tommy we're having another Bar B Que with the family. Remember the time I was worried about buying that 7mm and what the wife would say and how I felt guilty? You said get it now if that's what you want, get it now there's no sense in waiting. Enjoy yourself while you can. I do. I remember. Those words come back to me often and regularly."
  4. Terrific thread, thanks. Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you as well.
  5. I ordered an Aero lower for $99 on sale. Less money than published blem. Maybe wrong but I don't think so, 40 or 50 $ savings.
  6. “Hypotheticals further illustrate the weakness of this methodology,” he wrote. “A mouse is not an ‘elephant’ solely because it has three characteristics that are common to known elephants: a tail, gray skin and four legs. A child’s bike is not a ‘motorcycle’ solely because it has three characteristics common to known motorcycles: two rubber tires, handlebars, and a leather seat. And a Bud Light is not ‘Single-Malt Scotch,’ just because it is frequently served in a glass container, contains alcohol, and is available for purchase at a tavern. To close with a firearm-related example a hockey puck us not a ‘rubber bullet,’ just because it has rounded sides, is made of vulcanized rubber, and is capable of causing injury when launched at high speeds. Learning that one object has three characteristics in common with some category may not be very helpful in determining whether the object in question belongs in that category. I happen to enjoy the Judge's opinion. 3 out of 5 don't mean jack without precise standards.
  7. Welcome from Fla. Clean that brass and go!
  8. Welcome from Fla.
  9. I'll check, That was a 1am "why am I awake so soon" measurement. Thanks 12- 1/16" for sure.
  10. Armalite gas tube, spring , and other stuff arrived yesterday. Carbine gas tube 12".
  11. Looks like it is done well. Good going bud.
  12. Tried to edit the above. I see it's for a router, my mistake.
  13. Would any pro here recommend this drill for the above application? I've used floor presses on the job a few times but that's not my area of expertise. I always wanted one for my garage.
  14. Terrific first post Casper, thanks. Working on setting up my first 308, store bought PSA U/L. Just enough challenges to whet my appetite for more. Next project reloading, then my first build. I've been nudged toward Aero and I can't say why not, there's no reason to. I think you might want to post a couple of pics, there's a few grunts here that don't understand these symbols we're typing. They think the alphabet is a noodle found in soup.
  15. O no, BS it is, but man they fed us well. 30 kings landed, hundreds lost.
  16. Gas tube??? I see how easy it is to start ball cracking on a manufacturer. I swear I won't say anything like, " Are they walking that part over?" Not to mention my patience quota is akin to the life span of a tse tse fly landing on a hot skillet. I don't see me getting out to the range until next Thursday. I did return the buffers I bought by mistake, Primary Arms was quick in giving me a RA number. This build, the PSA upper and lower, came in at well under 1 grand. I will fire the weapon as issued and bring the components with me to the range. I will video the first shots and merely clean and lube before hand. I can't tell you how many times I've seen folks break out the new rifle from the box slap in a mag and let er rip. We had a saying in plumbing, if it squeaks its gonna leak. Remembering a recent thread talking about porous steel and micro fissures in the metal it's similar connecting pipe. We always used some type of lube to get a more secure fit by letting the metal slide together smoothly. Teflon tape, teflon paste, dope or grease, one way or another to make the materials mate together better. I'll do the same on this PSA and give them a decent shot at the first couple of rounds. If I'm locking up it won't be for lack of lube.
  17. Thanks for the information. Do buy a quality set, the knockoffs merely snap in half without too much force. Matco here I come.
  18. Well we didn't find the maki maki or tuna but landed into King Mackerel and tons of them. UnbelievaBLE NON STOP ACTION FOR THREE HOURS. Must have it cap lock but left it, sorta apropos. If you're in Fla., consider this notice the arrival of mass quantities of Kings.
  19. Mahi-Mahi and black tuna are waiting for me today. I accept the challenge. I'm off to go fishing in thirty minutes. Rods? Check. Reels? Check. Lures and bait? Fish? er Fish? Hmm!
  20. Hear you loud and clear. I accept ideas. I do not like the idea of going gently into the good night. Or whatever the correct line is. I'm down for some self propelled ass whooping. I went on the treadmill for 1/10th mile and the outside of my legs became tight and tired, stopped for a moment and continued. Did biceps with light weight and was surprised at my lack of strength. So yeah I'm open for suggestions! I understand box squats by the way. My couch stands jokingly referring to getting off my duff for another snack. Did go to gym, did realize my loses, and do want to never be in this bad shape again.
  21. only way I could figure this so far

      Wondering if you received these?

  22. Just waiting on Armalite gas tube. I received a call from them about an order, something wrong with my address, package on its way. KAK buffer received in 3 days. Spring orange I already had. Batch of ammo on its way. I should get to the range this week.😥 I'm starting to remember the range days. Sometimes I felt like I was packing for an offshore fishing trip. It's all worthwhile in the end but the prep work is mighty. I haven't even thought about glass yet, or mount. I have a HOLOSUN somewhere for now, or maybe grab a BUIS. I need targets. Spotting scope, check. Right under that 1/2" pile of dust. Camera, tri stands, camera and spotting. Pumped up, fired up, super excited.
  23. Received and replied.
  24. Welcome buddy. I'm new myself and am glad I found this site. Amazing folks.
  25. Way South, Let's say West Palm area, the Mrs. needs a Nordstrom within 15 miles or her hair frizzes. You? Where do you hail from? I suppose your hair doesn't frizz as my writing may suggest.
