  1. Is this all part of Obama's fundamentally changing America?
  2. Apparently two Americans (either one or both servicemen) took down a terrorist on a train between Amsterdam and Paris. Reports are both were injured but they took down the terrorist who had a Kalashnikov, a semi-auto pistol and a knife. Good work guys.
  3. B52s, boy that takes me back. In the early 70s I was the general engineering consultant for the City of Orlando for the Orlando Jetport at McCoy. McCoy was a SAC base until it was closed and deeded to the City in 1976, but in the 1973 and 1974 timeframe it was one of the quick response bases, with a squadron of B52Ds in the Christmas tree at the end of the west runway, fueled and ready to go. At that time when in full training there were over 100 52s parked wingtip to wingtip on the west ramp. It was quite a sight. What was really interesting I handled the base takeover for the City and negotiated with Disney for storing their fireworks in the old nuclear weapon bunkers. Disney insisted that they be strengthened before they would lease them to store their fireworks.
  4. Mine is like the Chicom soldier is holding except he is replaced with 2" PVC I formed into a base and short uprights. The 2x1 wood frame simply sits into the 2" PVC short uprights. I drilled a couple of holes in the base so I can spike it into the ground since the normal breeze in El Paso is 15 to 20 kts and gusty. This thing can be set up or broken down in a minute or two. I will take a picture next time I am at the range.
  5. The Activity Stream is under "More" in the upper right hand corner, at least it is on my laptop. I don't know where it is on a phone. I kind of like the white and blue - high school and college colors. I do miss the "take me to the first unread post" however. That was convenient.
  6. Jump? 45 years with an ASEL and there is still no reason I can see to jump out of a perfectly good airplane (i.e., intact wings and control surfaces). <lmao>
  7. You are all in our prayers. Stay safe.
  8. I believe that is "all of the above."
  9. Welcome from the Border. Would you mind taking the Clintons back and keeping them there?

    Football

My Steelers didn't look very good, no real pass rush, poor punt coverage. They have a long way to go on defense. Hard to tell about the offense with 3rd string QB, but he was under a lot of pressure so Ben may be sacked quite a bit this year.
  11. Besides, then you can switch them out when you want to change your look. Just like my wife's shoes! <lmao>
  12. 100 .308 cases and 100 175 GN projectiles from Diamond K and 5 rd magazines for both the .308 and .223 for use in load testing from Surplus Ammo and Mag Warehouse.
  13. In all of these cases the media and the progressive left immediately jump to gun control. They completely ignore the real cause - that we are unwilling to fund mental hospitals and the left's objective of mainstreaming those who are mentally defective. Add to that HIPPA, which prevents any real way of determining who may not be sufficiently capable of owning and handling a firearm safely (much less a danger to others). Those intent on suicide and having the world remember them will always find a way, if not a firearm then fertilizer and diesel fuel will do. <dontknow>
  14. No chance if it is Hillary!
  15. Used to spend some vacation time at an RV park in or just south of St. Augs somewhere along the beach. The pictures were taken with an iPhone, perhaps they don't play well with Windows. Live and learn! Thanks again. <thumbsup>
  16. I understand the situation, the storage racks behind the bench do not contain reloading supplies so this back bedroom is shared space. The nice thing about this bench is that it is solid enough to sit in the center of the room so that all sides can be accessed. The vise on the right side (can't really see it in the picture) is very heavy duty as well. I just saw an advertisement that the bench is on sale for $139. http://www.harborfreight.com/monthly-ad
  17. Hell, its tough to keep the HS-6 in the autodisk when it is right side up. How did you get it turned around? I never had difficulty uploading photos before. By the way where in north Florida are you located. We still have a place south of Live Oak that was to be our retirement place but it doesn't look like I will ever retire so we only get there for a week or two a year.
  18. Did you crop the bright corner from the window? I even tried flipping the picture before uploading and it still was upside down. In any event thanks. This bench has quite a bit of storage and is sufficiently stable to have 4 presses (Lee single, 2 Lee Classic Turrets, and a Lee Loadmaster) mounted with a bit of room for the case preparation tool and the Lyman powder dispenser plus another scale. The single stage is a dedicated trimmer station, the Loadmaster is dedicated to 9mm and one of the turrets is dedicated to 45 ACP. The other turret is for rifle (.223,.308 and 30.06) with three separate turrets so I can switch in seconds.
  19. Exactly Bradford. I should have included a photo; however, the editor insists on turning it upside down so you will need to use your imagination.
  20. Is there a button for carbs???crabs???? I'm confused! <dontknow>
  21. While I have been using the Lee Loadmaster progressive for 9 mm, I have been using the Lee Classic Turret press for everything else, even though I have the Loadmaster tuned pretty well. Even the primer attachment on the turret works well and is very controllable. It isn't quite as fast as the progressive but I was able to load 100 45 ACP in about 35 minutes start to finish. Take out the indexer and it works very well for the .308 and 30.06 that I hand prime, measure the charge with my Lyman Gen 6, and set and crimp on the press. I feel a lot more comfortable with the finished product this way, but then my wife is suggesting I border on OCD when it comes to reloading (which I wouldn't mind if she wasn't a psychologist!). <dontknow>
  22. Me too. Tools for the 9mm and .45, but just these for .223 and .308.
  23. Welcome from the border.
  24. Good. Anxious to see how you like shooting it. I don't use a rear rest (just a bipod) and in El Paso a breeze is 10 to 15 mph, and the range is on the side of the mountain with some tricky currents but I am getting 1 MOA regularly with the bipod and 1.5 to 2 off hand at 100-yards. One of these days I will get my left finger trained properly and get fully used to the MechArmor trigger, but I am happy with the receiver set (very tight, no play) and the barrel (Faxon 18").
  25. Sorry about that. Besides, I'm not a mechanical engineer I'm a civil engineer (although there are those progressives that suggest I am not so civil).
