  1. What about the idiot walking in under the moving rotor given what had just happened?!?
  2. I have mixed dominance (very right handed but left eye dominant) so handguns tend to be difficult for me to shoot well. As a result, I put Lasermax units on both my Ruger LCP and LC9. This makes it much simpler to quickly acquire a target so I will be putting these (the guide rod version) on my Glocks (17 and 36) and my Springfield Micro Compact (if I can find something that will fit).
  3. Very tough. I also have the upper receiver block as well and it works nicely in conjunction with the wooden vise I have on my table.
  4. This has worked well for me and is very cheap. SR-25 AR-10A Lower Receiver Vise Block _ PlastiXrevolution.htm
  5. Then it should be virtually bullet proof (no pun intended on this forum).
  6. When we lived in Colorado we had several Subarus. Never put less than 250K miles on any of them. The only repair we ever had was the timing belt, which seems to be the weak point of the boxer engine. All were still running fine when we traded them in.
  7. Welcome from the border.
  8. I have the JP Adjustable .750 on my .308 build (Faxon 18" Mid Length) and it has worked perfectly. I can recommend it as being an excellent product.
  9. Who really cares?
  10. Retire? What does that mean? Some folks seem to think it is a positive thing but I don't know. Perhaps when I feel old.
  11. Lived in Florida for more than 20-years, had a boat, and spent a great deal of time in the Keys. It made sense then.
  12. I know what you mean, they just seem to accumulate in the safe.
  13. Licensed pilot and certified scuba diver and still enjoy a round of golf now and then. The demands of the job leave little time for flying and scuba; however, so hunting, shooting and reloading take up most of my free time these days.

  21. Any good engineer listens to all input to ensure the solution is correct. Unfortunately there are a lot of engineers, particularly in government (and I have worked in government and the private sector), that have become bureaucrats rather than engineers. One of the reasons I left US DOT 25 years ago was the preponderance of bureaucrat engineers.
  22. Yeah, its a curse.

  24. Just in case you think I am exaggerating!
  25. We have 8" in the back yard in El Paso and it is still snowing!
