  1. I never have had a Fakebook account, and I never will. Same for Twidder or whichever crapola version you can mention. And I have not had any good come from hearing the crap that does get put on there.
  2. That is some awesome work!
  3. Yup! Alot like one of my wifes' nieces just had to post pics of her C-section online.....NOT want anyone (except sick bastards) want to see. Like I said most of life just isn't as interesting as everyone wants to think theirs is.
  4. As an aside topic........ I picked up a pair of Thorogoods for work a couple of weeks ago, and the more they break in, the better they are feeling....and they felt pretty darn good in the store.
  5. First order of buissness, LEAVE THE DAMN CELLPHONE OFF!!!!!! Why does everyone think they have to record every minute of their life? .....most of everyones life just isn't that interesting.
  6. Some Ivan the Terrible would be a good contender for that oatmeal stout for breakfast. It a nice stout-Russian imperial style....YUM!
  7. I know we do have some cold weather, and THAT is normally when one needs to be doing something outside for the office jockey......happens every time.
  8. I live in Mandan, which is fairly centrally located. I have actually lived, worked, and drove semi-trucks out in the patch. I would not trade what i do, and where I am for that again. The oil patch area is more or less the western 1/3 of the state, with it concentrated towards the upper part, rather than the bottom area.
  9. I take it those persons weren't wonderful? ....I know some of us can be different at times....
  10. And by my comment about suffering through the cold, I am just getting older and not enjoying the winters as much as I used to.
  11. Believe it or not, the winters here are not as bad as portrayed be the news media. This misbelief falls under the same idea about the heat in our desert regions from the southwestern states.....not as bad as it is portrayed in movies and such. I would rather have our dry cold, than any lake effect snow/cold from having large water bodies near. It is funny to see how the only time we make the weather news is when there happens to be a storm moving through, that would make me think that, by news reporting/correlation, there is nothing but rain storms on the eastern coast, and heavy snows around New York!
  12. Are there any members living in ND? It would be real nice to know that I'm not heading into winter without some backup for sufferin' through the colder months.
  13. Heheh!!!
  14. Ah....didn't pay attention to timeliness details.
  15. That isn't a first gen rifle from the Alien movie series is it?
  16. That is how I feel after my first build.....already thinking of what goes into next one.
  17. Yours didn't have the A2 flashhider?
  18. BWAHAHHAHAHEHEH! !!!!!!!
  19. ERRR, EERRRRR, GRRR, GRRR.....german porn sounds......not good for memories.
  20. Yeah, I had a big DOH! moment when I realized that I forgot my ammo supply. .....
  21. Range report: BEEEUUUTIFUL!!!!! I love it. Zero failures in 75 rounds downrange, from first to last. First ten shots to check zero, functioning, then mag dump! If I do my part correctly, I can hit the little bottlecap sized rocks in the 100 yard rear berm, standing, unsupported. The FUR shoots better than I, no questions. And the reasons for only a 75 round test.....I forgot my ammobox so I only had 3 mags with me and two rifles.
  22. I must say, I have rarely felt a trigger like this in an AR. Sweet, smooth, and clean. I don't have a trigger pull guage, but it is less than the other triggers in my house, still safe, and works every time it gets pulled. ....and $20 used..... Go Armalite!
  23. THANKS! I never thought of that acronym. I like it even better now....because that is how I feel about dissy's also. I have always liked them since the early 90's (when I owned my first AR) and only now gotten around to owning one. Thanks for the comments guys!
