  1. Congrats on missing the tornado! You should probably head out and pick up some lottery tix!
  2. I agree with Dane, running the water/coffee over and over the grounds is supposed to be the worst way to make coffee. From my experience, I must agree, as every time I have had percolated coffee (some made myself) it has not neen up even the standards of my el cheapo pot at home....and never mind the "pro" way of making it.....presses, ect.
  3. Wow, just wow..... If there has been documentation of his "journey " on his website, then this should be NO surprise to anyone who know of him. And getting some very good psychological help would serve him, and his whole family, better than hormone therapy.
  4. A bit late, but thanks for the info.
  5. I am curious if anyone has used these brand of mags in their AR15'S. Saw some at a LGS and was wondering how they stack up against Magpul mags.
  6. I agree, and that is part of the reason to watch for the lower tiers of differing vendors....some of their low tier glass is worse than the cheap imports.
  7. Believe me, I spoke from experience on both sides of the glass discussion. I have both cheap a$$ glass and good (Shepherd's & Leupold) glass on rifles. You don't regret spending more only as long as you can forget what you spent on that glass, but every time it performs flawlessly.....regrets dissolve.
  8. Think long and hard about weight with a 308AR, as my 16" APF carbine is just under 11 pounds unloaded. It has a full length free float forearm, and fixed Magpul buttstock....just for your info.
  9. Glass is something that one should NOT worry about when spending excess money on a rifle. Better glass does help more than you think.
  10. Prayers will be said! ....I really need to stsrt checking out the rest of the forum more often.....
  11. Put together 200 9mm last night. Hoping to put up some more tonight.
  12. I was hoping to hear that there wasn't much difference. ....but reality: get out and do the testing I should do anyway.
  13. My question has to do with anyone who has actually used standard AND magnum primers in their 9mm reloads. I know all the standard advice when going to mag primers from a standard primer in handloads, What I want to know is how much actual difference there really is in the pressures developed in a 9mm with mag vs standard primer, and if you lowered you powder charge, and by how much (if at all) to keep the same pressures/velocities.
  14. I'm a sicko.....love watching her vids.
  15. No kidding....buckets of work for whoever would like to do it!
  16. I am keeping all the suggestions in mind, and jettisoning any CO ideas. This isn't a speedy process anyway, it is more like a 5 year plan for us. and alot can change in 5 years.....
  17. Idaho would be great, save the climate isn't much different than where I am at. winters still suck there.....looking for something that is more temperate than our northern hemispheres. Taking everything in guys, keep the comments coming!
  18. The main reason for starting this search is getting to a more temperate climate area, someplace way more accommodating to motorcycle riding year round, and where we can live reasonably for the last 1/2 of our lives. I am open to suggestions from those who know/have been there/live there...."there" being the type of area one can live in and still live without too much worry.
  19. That libtard tendency from the state is a big hangup for me.... I try to mention about northern AZ, or somewhere like that, but keep getting comments about too much heat from my wife. This is nothing more than a start, beginning, or exploration of possibilities anyway. The cost of living in Pueblo is what started this particular looksie into the place.
  20. The title says it all. Anyone have thoughts on moving there from Mandan, ND to relocate and enjoy life a bit more, and live more simply.....
  21. For what it is worth, my wife's Wylde barrel has been outstanding on her carbine.
  22. http://apfarmory.com/ They should have what he wants, easily.....
  23. Doubled post.
  24. This goes something like this...... Those who have/claim/want no history are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. This goes for most libtards....
  25. I also owned a PT145 Millennium Pro, but have long since sold that to a friend who happened to own the very same model. His had rendered itself unshootable shortly after acquiring mine, by simply having the recoil spring mechanism come apart....and Taurus will NOT send a new one out for replacement, they want the whole gun to "repair" it.
