  1. I find it is faster on my phone, just really don't like it much
  2. My wife bought me the patch years ago.....for a Father's Day gift! Genuine center of uranus 100% American Made that looks like an old HD circular logo.
  3. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CfZcEjdvx8c In case anyone hasn't seen these, here is a link to Iraqveteran1888's latest video of his meltdown series. This last on he does a piston AR, the one before is a DI AR, and the first is done with an AK. Full auto until failure....almost sounds like an old Bestie Boys song title.
  4. That Magpul MOE rifle stock just happens to fit the bill exactly! Thanks for all the suggestions. I went with having one installed when APF put a new upper receiver on my carbine to correct the case deflector angle problem with the original design. They put one of the MOE stocks on there, and I find that it fits me perfectly.
  5. Not quite something I paid for but....received my 308AR back from the manufacturer on Friday, and there was new upper receiver along with a new Magpul fixed rifle buttstock on the gun. Now my APF carbine is set up exactly the way that I have wanted it setup since purchasing it, along with totally flawless performance with all ammo, including my handloads (my handloads were the only thing that didn't function 100%) . A redesigned case deflector, and everything is 100% now. If I could do a happy dance with the keyboard, I would still be doing it!
  6. Born in `70 here, and then I guess I am in with you also. Running into the back end of pickups with your bicycle because you couldn't stop due to speed was just a learning bump along the way.... Now someone would have you locked up, or parents sued, for even thinking about running into their vehicles.
  7. That was, and still is, one great film. I enjoy watching it whenever I can.
  8. Shoot, after reading just a few replies.....I am BORING. Not even gonna say much but, bikes and guns, guns and bikes.
  9. And this one was read out loud to a couple of friends that I know lean to the left.....they didn't have anything to say!!! :))
  10. Mwahahahhahahhha........I am going to use that one at work. Alot!
  11. Add me to that fanboy list!
  12. PM sent
  13. Take a fabric softner rag after that and wipe it out. Those usually work to not only wipe out the "sticky" (probably static stuck) particles, but they will also take care of residual static charge buildup on powder measurer plastic parts.Hope that helps, and don't leave powder in your measurer next time.
  14. Good to know. I was going to put some compound on a fired case and go at it.... Using a shotgun bore mop makes things easier.....
  15. I have a question on polishing the chamber of my 308AR. First off, has anyone ever polished their chambers on their 308AR, and if so, what did you notice afterwards? Secondly, how did you/what did you use to polish your barrels' chamber? I am experiencing some misfeeds that look like they are due to a bit of drag from the brass within the chamber during extraction. I am looking to eliminate any drag due to my chamber, and this is the first step in dealing with any drag problems. A second step will be done if necessary, and that will be done only if polishing doesn't work. Info on the rifle: APF factory built 16", match chamber, and I need it to work without reservation, with even slightly not perfect ammo.....
  16. ....or just quit trying to put crap where it doesn't belong......even better!
  17. Maybe a bit of blue locktite even....instead of worrying about keeping the threads "free"....makes sense.
  18. When putting on a muzzle brake, or flash hider, is there any need for anti-sieze on the threads.....or am I just being a bit WAY too anal?
  19. Agreed 100%
  20. You can also give these guys a call...APF Armory Just make sure to let them know what generation of DPMS you are needing parts for, as they makee some of the parts for DPMS.
  21. This thread has went to $h!t!!!! :))
  22. +1!!!!!!! AAHAHHHAHAHAHAAHAH
  23. Here's a push for a manufacturer of DPMS pattern rifles, that makes the parts for DPMS.... Iwould recommend their 16" carbine or 18" hunter versions for what you're looking at. Alex Pro Firearms
  24. Thanks for the suggestions guys, it looks like I have a couple of solid options to look through now. That is a good start, and probably a great ending....Thanks!
